Tony - thanks for (1) proving me accurate in my prediction and (2) still not refuting the points I have made in this thread.

He called the "RULE" a charade not specifically Z going back to Cleveland. People are reading TOO MUCH into his statements.

Its happened before but Jackson was never indignant about it then. Jackson is concerned the Cavs will steamroll them so he's whining.

I beg to differ. Go back and read you linked article and his points. He was more accurate in the assessment of the article then you. it seemed like you read the headline ONLY and went off on your statement/accusations.

Either you refuse to overlook Tony's arguments or just plain don't understand English.(no pun intended)

To be honest, the only rule that is a charade is the one that prevents a traded player from going back to the team that traded him for a month. Other than that it is simply a lack of rule that is being used here. There are several things to take into consideration here.

The Cavs traded Z, the rights to a player and a first for Jamison.

The Wiz wanted to movie Jamison because his contract goes for 3 more years at a high value, and he's in his 30's. In addition, they had young players that they wished to allow to play.

No team was really interested in taking on Jamisons contract because of the afforementioned issues that the Wiz had with it except the Cavs.

The Cavs were not interested in moving any young players to take Jamison feeling that relieving the Wiz of the contract was enough

The Wiz wanted to save additional money so they bought out Z's contract eventhough they were under the threshold (same as they did with Mike James)

I can't see any justification that should prevent a free agent from going to any team (including the Cavaliers) that he wants to.

As the years goes by, phill make me lose more and more respect for him.
