It does appear that Z has made a final decision and he'll be back in Cleveland later this month.

Z's decision of returning to Cleveland was made even before the trade w/ the Wizards went down. It was all pre-arranged. Z said he had all intentions of going back to the Cav's right after the trade, the League then steps in and starts investigating a pre-arranged deal after Z says that. Z then changes his tune and says he feels like a betrayed wounded bird and doesn't know if he will choose the Cavs, basically to stall the NBA.

Cavs played the system and will get Z back while acquiring Jamison. He was planning to go back to the Cavs all along, anyone who thinks there was any "decision process" is naive, Ferry and them meeting with him in NY was all just a smoke screen.

What you are paraphrasing is the article in which Z said "I hope they let me go back home". There wasn't anything prearranged just taking advantage of the relationship and goodwill that the Cavs had built up over time. Seems like an elaborate smoke screen for all those guys to go visit Z, but I know how you conspiracy theorists are, there is nothing that can be said to dissuade you.

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/wizard ... rdsinsider

(Ilgauskas has no desire to play in Washington and returned home to Cleveland immediately after taking his physical with the Wizards on Friday. He has played with the Cavaliers for his entire 14-year career. Although Dallas and Atlanta have expressed interest in signing Ilgauskas, the 7-foot-3 center is expected to join the team after waiting 30 days from the time he was traded. After the Wizards acquired Ilgauskas in the Antawn Jamison trade on Wednesday, Rudoy told the Cleveland Plain Dealer, "His heart truly is in Cleveland."

"This is my team,'' Ilgauskas told the Plain Dealer. "I'm going to be mad, but not so mad that I wouldn't come back. I understand it's a business. This is my home. No matter what happens in the future, that will never change.'')

Not a conspiracy theorist, I'm just not blinded by homer goggles and totally oblivious to reality. He made a bunch of comments right after the trade and after people started questioning whether or not it was a prearranged deal, buzz from the front office started popping up. What a surprise a few days after that suddenly he was "going to pursue other offers" and "wasn't sure if he could forgive the Cavs"....

There were other comments he made after the trade, but really don't feel interested in digging for them, as I do not care that much. I remember what I heard and it was obvious to everyone who doesn't live in Ohio.

And there was no deal that was prearranged when Z and his agent said that Cleveland is his home..
