To me it seems as if the lakers have not played to potential where-as we (mavs/cavs) are playing our hearts out every night. I hope im wrong but I dont think so. It looks like their are winning based off talent alone which is what scares me. If you watch them play, they play with no emotion or sense of urgency.
Pfft...
Not worried about the Lakers...
I'll take a 7 game series with the Lakers right now with both teams 100% healthy and throw them home court advantage....
The Mavs don't have the physical nature to beat the Lakers.. The Nuggets do and so do the Cavs... The Cavs can combat their size, the Cavs neutralize their shooting, Bynum and Artest... I think Pau will struggle with Z's size and Pau will also struggle with having to guard the perimeter for long periods of time that will keep the Lakers off the glass as well...
The Cavs have 3 front court players that move significantly well off the ball and have as much balance as any team the Lakers will face... Cavs can go big and small with them... And personally, I would love to see the Cavs play LeBron at the 4 spot in that series... Force the Lakers to play Odom or Artest at the PF spot with either Bynum or Pau playing the Center against Shaq... LeBron will abuse either IMO...
If healthy, I have ZERO doubt we win the championship this year.... First year I have felt like this...Cavs can matchup with the Lakers any way the Lakers want to play this year and do so with the best player on the floor dictating the pace of the game...
