Why Ainge isn't a good GM

I understand that he stole Jamison, Mo Williams, and Shaq.
I understand that he's given Lebron great role players.

But here's my problem with him: He totally blew the 2004.
In 2004 they took Luke Jackson. Here's who was taken after him:

Andries Bierdens
Al Jefferson
Josh Smith
Jameer Nelson
Kevin Martin

I know people botch drafts but this was his chance to get Lebron a 2nd guy. He never did and he never will (IF he stays). This was his chance and he blew it. By 2005 it was too late (there pick was traded in 1997). It's not easy to get the 2nd guy but you kind of have to if Lebron wants to win a ring in Cleveland. They can still win a title this year but they would be the heavy favorites if they had that 2nd guy instead there just the best team in the league but there's no elite teams.

1) Our GM is Danny Ferry. Danny Ainge is Boston's GM.
2) Jim Paxson was our GM in 2004. Not Danny Ferry.
