I hope in 2 years we wouldn't even consider having a guy like Gee on the roster.

The good news is he has more time to prove he belongs, but I really dont' see him being a factor based on what he's done so far. He's got poor shooting %'s and a negative assist/turn over ratio. I just don't see it.

He has about as much of a chance of sticking in the nba as Warren G.

They just picked him up to help drive the tank.

He wont be a stud. And he cant be a bust since nothing was expected of him in the first place. His numbers are just inflated by being on a terrible team and playing heavy minutes. He has had a few good games but his game is extremely sporadic even for a young player. Dont think you can take too much stock into his performances. It would be great if he develops into a role player but I hope the Cavs can do significantly better. He'll remain a bench filler in the NBA from the looks of it.

Well said. The fact this guy is getting significant minutes for the Cavs is a sign of just how bad they are right now.

These kind of bad years can be useful because you can give a chance to these kind of guys. These guys can turn out to be useful borderline starters of bench players on a good team like the Cavs could eventually be in the future. Take a look at Patty Mills and Wesley Matthews in Portland. Guys exceeded expectations because the team is having an off year and had the time to give them a chance.
