Re: Ramon Sessions value?
i've never really shared the same opinion that most fans do of sessions. i've always thought of him as a stopgap and not an actual piece for the future. his best role is off the bench as a scorer (because he's pretty much a black hole on offense) and i'm sure there will be a team interested in him once the lockout is over. i'd love a low first round pick for him if a bidding war can be started

I agree, to me Sessions is a change of pace guard off the bench. He is very good at attacking the basket, and can make some passes here and there. That being said, I would still prefer to keep Gibson as our backup PG.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Re: Ramon Sessions value?
sessions had the greatest PER improvement in the league from last season to this. faulty stat, but still
biggest improvements this year are:
6.06 sessions (from 8/3 on 51% TS off bench to 13/5 on 56% TS as part-time starter)
5.73 westbrook (16ppg on 49% TS to 22ppg on 54% TS - big improvement - now an offensive factor, but still overrated on D)
4.93 rose (21/6 on 53% TS to 25/8 on 55% TS - very good improvement on O, perhaps even more on D)
4.51 hayes (4/6/2 on 50%TS to 8/8/3 on 55% TS)
4.38 t young (from 52% TS to 57% TS in return to bench full time)
4.17 t allen (6ppg on 54% TS to 9ppg on 56% TS and part-time starter - blah)
3.95 t parker (54% TS to 57% TS - more of a return to form)
3.67 love (14/11 on 55% TS to 20/15 on 59% TS and starter role - bigger improvement than PER indicates, but still poor defender)
3.52 odom (11ppg on 53% TS to 14ppg 59% TS, all other #s slip a bit)
3.27 aldridge (18ppg to 22ppg, modest TS % increase - had to play center part-time this year)
3.15 s curry (57% TS to 60% TS, more points in less minutes - now full time PG responsibilities - defensive improvement as well. significant improvement in 2nd year players somewhat expected - maybe gets downgraded for this in many minds)
your most improved player...with the spotlight on...derrick rose. only guy on list other than perhaps curry to make big defensive strides. assist to thibs
