Game 50: Cavs at Knicks | Sat, Mar 31st | 7:30 PM ET

Post#1 » by Rise Against » Sat Mar 31, 2012 5:42 am

How in the blue hell do we have another game televised on NBA TV?

Oh well. I do not care. We are so close to getting the 5th worst record in the league.

I don't know about you guys, but is anyone losing interest in watching the Cavs? I mean it's okay to lose for the lottery sake.. But the way they are losing just makes it unbearable to watch.

In other words, there are also some important games to look out for...

Hornets @ Lakers
Bobcats @ Pistons
Nets @ Kings ( I seriously do not know who to root for in this one.. )

Must lose, even if it is against the Knicks. Actually, the fact that it's against the Knicks makes me very worried because we always embarrass them. Gotta get an L tonight.

We've been making fun of them a lot lately, in their house as well.

But no way we're winning today and the Knicks have actually been decent of late.

Will Kyrie play tonight?

Post#6 » by stateofmind88 » Sat Mar 31, 2012 9:34 pm

Knicks fan here.

Anyone know if Kyrie will play? Don't get to see much Cavs games, but last time the Cavs played the Knicks, Kyrie was amazing. I really want to see him play again. I know he is banged up and if he doesnt play, the Knicks have a better chance to win, but I rather beat a healthy (or healthier, idk how banged up you guys are) Cavs team.

He'll play. He suffered more of a broken spirit than a sprained shoulder. That said, we are in shambles. Varejao is out, Jamison is worn down, we are starting a 6'8 rookie at center because he's our best option, and our SG may spontaneously turn into dust in the middle of the game. Without Sessions, our second unit is deplorable and they all may end up working in wal-mart or driving beer carts at golf courses next season. And to make it all worse, we are now Boobless.

This team is in tank mode. Expect a 30 point win.

Knicks have been looking great, im not that worried. And they aren't going to have their guard down for us despite how crummy we have been as of late.

Sprained shoulder sounds painful. I think we should sit him for 10 games just to be on the safe side.

How is this not a blowout? If the Knicks lose to us, they do not deserve to be in the playoffs.

Is there any point to make game threads this season? We come in these threads and talk about everything else BUT the actual game

Hmmm, if a majority of us agree to not have anymore game threads for the rest of the season, then I will stop making them until next season. Maybe I will need an approval from B Mac.. Lol.

I mean if you wanna keep making them, more power to you lol. I was just saying because of late, I see everything but actual game comments.

To answer the original question of whether some of us are losing interest in watching,, yes I am. I dvr'ed the OSU game instead of the Cavs last night, I had a 50th B-Day party to attend. Part of it is that I really dont like rooting against the Cavs, even though I know its in their best interest.
But really, I dont like watching bad basketball. Its just easier to read the paper in the morning after games like the Bucks game. I get the satisfaction of the team improving their draft position and dont have to sit through a garbage loss like that. I have only missed a handful of games this season but its already more than normal for me.
I enjoy watching Kyrie gaining experience, but cant get excited when Antawn or Parker or most anyone else does well since I know most of the players wont be here in a season or two. I am way more excited about the draft and am actually looking forward to summer leagues and seeing the players drafted start to get acclimated to the NBA and the Cavs. I guess hope srpings eternal here in Cleveland.
