By the way, one thing i noticed about Dion was his man to man defense, it was really good.

Watching that game it looks like maybe Byron should get Waiters out at the 6 minute mark in the first quarter then bring him back early for the second unit so they can have a bit more firepower. Your second unit is really bad right now and could cost you a lot of wins.

The problem with the second unit is that Byron played Walton more minutes thanLeur and Casspi :nonono:

had a great time at the game last night! can't beat $10 tickets off flash seats and then just moving up to first row center court of upper deck :D

some thoughts:
- VAREJAO! (enough said)
- the second unit is awful and it was painful watching them. I find it impossible that Leur and even Casspi wouldn't be more effective than Walton. Why not let boobie run point because sloan does nothing anyway to generate offense and they arent far off defensively.
- TT soooo bad with the ball on offense but he is on track to be a hell of a player defensively and on the boards. Not a bad compliment with our offense being generated elsewhere and out of D.
- Waiters still looks a bit lost without the ball and i did not see him utilize and screens hardly at all. but i was more than happy with his performance on both sides of the ball. The #4 pick may be justified yet. He will undoubtedly be a streaky player this year but I liked the energy and confidence he displayed.
- This will be a fun year to watch and I think we will win quite a few games over favored opponents and will finish around 9th-10th in the East as long as Varejao stays on board.

TL;DR - Easily winning NBA finals after going 73-9

Andy is so pricless to this team. He was easily the best player on the floor last night, he just impacts the game so much. Im with delontes lip I really don't wanna see him traded unless we get a really really good return.

Pretty good game for the starters at least. Our depth and bench is horrible though. Almost lost us a game we dominated in 4 minutes. Kyrie was great, Thompson wad pretty good though hes a spud with the ball in his hands still.
Dion was impressive, played well and showed alot of confidence. He was good with the ball in his hands and kyrie didn't mind playing off the ball. Dions gonna have an up and down year but so far so good.

Having to play Walton so many minutes is worrying, out depth will cost us alot of wins this year.

Also, and my memory may be wrong but I think there was a strong indiation we were gonna draft MKG at two if we were able to move up anyway.

Actually Charlotte made it perfectly clear pre-draft they were open to negotiation. But keep with the insults because like I stated in the original posts Cavs fans are going to stay mad.... I totally get it

There's a radio interview with Brian Windhorst (who was in the draft room!) and he said Charlotte pulled out, the Cavs thought they had a deal in place.

People are always open to negotiation, that doesn't mean that you'd be willing to give up as much as they'd be asking.

I'm not at all mad about Beal, I always was more interested in Drummond than him.
