Byron Scott

Post#1 » by Harper4Ferry? » Tue Jan 8, 2013 5:15 am

I'm wondering what he needs to do in order to either 1. Get Fired or 2. Keep his job. Obviously these are contrasting goals. Does a 20-62 mark keep his job? Does he need at least 10-10 stretch this year?

I'm wondering if finances will play a role in this as well. Look at our payroll this year. We could have spent more money vs the cap, but we didn't. All of our contracts can expire in a year. Surprised there are no rumors of Gilbert selling tbh. Anyways, maybe Scott won't get fired due to finances.

As an outsider, I would say that there shouldn't be too much expectations for this team, so firing Scott wouldn't make too much of a difference. Look at the current team - one budding superstar in Irving, an injured Varejao who doesn't look like he will be traded, then nothing. No one else really stands out on this roster.

During that horrible Chicago performance last night you could see Scott getting very upset with the mental error on leaving the inside passing wide open. I think Scott still has the ear of the players. If that Changes I wonder. But I have seen a difference in TT game that I think is Scott's doing more than anyone. He's always in his ear.

His rotations are worse than MIke Brown. WTF was waiters doing guarding 6'9" Deng last night?? How many easy baskets does a guy need to get to realize its not a good idea to put Waiters on Deng. Idiot....

B.Scott is just doing what Cavs management wants him too (tank). I guess they could fire him, if they need a scape goat.

Return to Cleveland Cavaliers
