It's worth around 5m a year if you can get him signed for 3 years(bird rights after conclusion). Even if he can get healthy enough to play 20 minutes a night, i gotta think he will be worth it.

Miami has no $ to offer him, we'll see what happens. It would be amazing if we signed him and he played to even 75% of his original potential. Irving/Oden would be a ridiculous 1-2 punch.

Low risk, high reward. Low base salary, high incentive. Comes down to years we will offer. IMO our chances are as good as Miami's at this time. Only thing is if he values chance to win now. Keep pushing for this Grant. get it done please.

I hope we don't fall into the same trap the wolves did with Roy and offer him decent money thinking his knees will magically heal.

Needs to get his drinking problem in order too.

The only way it is acceptable for him to publically declare he's deciding between these two particular teams is if he's already chosen Cleveland.

I have no idea what Minnesota was thinking with Roy. Degenerative knee condition, do they not know what degenerative means? At least with Oden there is a chance his physical health will improve.

Has anyone heard about or seen reports about this guy being work out by the Cavs? If he can't go 150% now after sitting on his ass (after healing up) I would not pick up the phone to call. We have to be sure of testing the surgical repairs on this guy or we are complete idiots!
