And if he wore 5" shoes instead of 1.75" shoes, he would have measured 7'3". What is your point.?

That Every other player gets .75 from his shoes except Noel who gets 1.75? Not helping your case.

I am fine with Noel's height and length as a center prospect, so please, go on.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

And when will he be ready to guard Roy Hibbert? Andre Drummond?

It took Chandler 9 years to make the NBA all defensive team and Garnett a decade to guard opposing centers.

How long until Noel can reach the Chandler level and be more than just a speed bump for the larger, more traditional centers?

And when do you replace Tristan Thompson with an offensive oriented PF to balance Noel?

We want Noel to block shots......couldn't Oden or Gobert just do that?

Attention Cavs fans - we have Alonzo freaking Gee as our starting SF.......

At the end of the day - Grant has done enough for me to trust him. Whoever he decides to grab I am good with

Only a few centers can do that anyway. Hibbert is 7'3"

Also, neither are big scoring threats. I'm not drafting a big man to guard 13 ppg big men, I'm drafting them to help my team guard 25+ppg wing men.

Yep, and you'll need one if you're starting Kyrie and Waiters

I'll draft Bullock at 19 if available, great fit and also long term, alla Danny Green, if Waiters in the end plays 6th man (you never know).

Actually...

Irving/Livingston-Bullock/Waiters/Ellington-Parker or Wiggins or LeBron (who cares)-Thompson/Varejao/Speights-Noel/Zeller

That's sick

Many seem to be forgetting that the top pick isn't the only way we'll acquire players for the coming season. Just because Gee starts at SF right now doesn't mean he does when the season starts.
Later picks, trades, free agency....plenty of opportunity to address the position. Heck, maybe Danny Granger is on this tem when the season starts.

Also is worth noting that to win we need good players on our bench too. It doesn't matter what order we acquire these championship pieces as long as we get them. There is nothing wrong with taking Noel and letting him be the 3rd or 4th big for a season or two. There's nothing wrong with taking McLemore and solidifying a stellar three guard rotation. SF can wait IF the superior talent is at other positions. With the #1 pick, BPA is the only option available.

You also need a long athletic 3 who guard those wing players........especially if we are rolling a Dion/Kyrie backcourt.

Who can score in droves because the Cavs will have almost no low-post scoring presence... It's going to look like those Sixers teams with Ratliff and Hill down low...

I actually really like how Tristan's post game has developed though
