Also, I am not a fan of using the cap this off season to be at best a 5th seed in the east. We've been terrible for three years and it's not like we have any chance to win a title this season, so why not throw our name into the Wiggins sweepstakes?

Pretty much agree with everything you say here.

Don't want us to blatantly tank this year though, if we're bad we're bad but lets not repeat last season.

Bigs are projects I don't fault him for not drafting a big because most have been busts. I like his drafting and trades so far we have a lot of talent far more than when Lebron was here coming into this season . What I do not like is the roster overall . We do not have enough real vets for this young team. We need veteran leadership as much as we need talent if he could get one or two older guys in their to mentor our young players that would help a ton . I hope we get Earl Clark as well to add to our corp. We might be able to secure the 6th seed in the east if we can stay healthy and play defense. We have enough depth , scoring, and rebounding to compete.

Here was my issue with Drummond. He simply cannot create his own shot. In an era with LeBron - where we had only one person to get buckets - the addition of Waiters means we now have two outstanding creators. What does it mean that Grant also chose Bennett - another creator/offensive beast. Drummond will be a top 5 center within 3 or 4 years- but he next to Tristan would have been - UGGGLLLYYYYYY.

Well he is not a guard, so I don't know why anybody would expect him to create. Are you saying you wouldn't want Dwight because he is not really a shot creator and gets his points by being a beast around the basket? This argument is ridiculous.

Are you saying Bennett cannot create his own shot? So when do you expect Drummond to reach Dwight Howard status?

Dwight is an overrated Malcontent who hasn't improved in 9 seasons I wouldn't want him on the Cavs at all .

Dwights coming off a 17/12 season where he was banged up all year and coached by the worst big man/defensive coach in the league. Hes the best big man in the league easily and people act like he sucks.

You can hate him for his personality and for being a drama queen, but you cannot deny his talent and his presence on the court. I am sure every team in the league would like to have him as their starting center.

I guess growing up in the Hakeem, Robinson, Ewing era of centers - I feel like Dwight is overrated. But ya if he had signed here i would be cool with that....
