The Cavs have actually have been in need of more bigs for years, I love the idea that we might have plenty with Bynum, Varejao, Zeller, Thompson, Bennett and maybe Clark. I see good size and lots of versatility there.

I think the minutes break down like this:

Kyrie (34) / Jack (14)
Dion (34) / Jack (14)
Gee (22) / Bennett (10) / Clark (16)
Thompson (30) / Bennett (18)
Bynum (24) / AV (24)

***Gee/Russian plays some 2
**Zeller plays some 5 where needed

I think Gee is going to be the odd man out. I think a bunch of guys will be getting more minutes than him.

I think down the line yes - but initially I can see Mike Brown salivating at Gee's defensive potential...

Earl Clark will start b4 Gee. Clark will be a major surprise for the casual fan.

Time to embrace Bynum!!

We've really cleaned up this off season. We have a really deep and strong team. If our 3 best players can stay healthy (big if) we'll be real good.

I'm with outlaw about trading one of the bigs, Why? We wont get great value for andy and probably not Thompson either. I'd rather keep the four big rotation for this season and see how it goes. Especially with the health concerns to two of them.

Having such a strong and versatile front court will be amazing. so sick of us getting abused there. Exciting season ahead.

I agree, Gee will get minutes early, but I also expect him to earn minutes throughout the season. With three ball handlers running the pick and roll, Gee and Clarke are going to see a lot of open corner threes.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

I have to think so.

We're capped out (except for maybe the MLE or something) and we have a full roster. We don't need more bodies in here, and there isn't likely going to be the opportunity to consolidate for better players at this point.

Almost hoping Karasev decides to stay in Russia for a year at this point.

I'd be shocked if Bynum or Andy play more than 1500 minutes this year. Seems really optimistic at this point. I'd even doubt Bynum can play 1000 minutes for this team, his knees may not be that healthy. Hypothetically if Bynum looked healthy enough to even play 20 minutes 70 times this year, we don't get him for only 6m guaranteed. I predict we'll see a lot of Zeller this year again, and tons of Tristan at center.

If you are looking for a fun way to help the offseason pass...I just started sign-ups for a new Build-a-Team over on the Orlando Board. You guys are more than welcome to come on over and join in.

It is a bit different this time around...the players you draft will consist of the 300 All-Stars since 1970. Come build your All-Time Great Team....

I seriously doubt that we want him.
