He's not LeBron, but I'm really gonna feel terrible if he leaves. He's my favorite player in the league.

Re: Kyrie about to say bye bye
Not a big deal. Cavs still have Kyrie for 2 years after this year regardless. If he wants out, trade him, we'll get a huge hull for Kyrie. Young players, picks, whatever we want. If he stays, great. He's a good kid, but he hasn't been here long and he's not from Ohio. Hope he wants to stick around but the Cavs survived after LeBron and they'll survive after Kyrie.

I agree with your stance for the most part, but that's a pretty literal take on "survived."
I don't believe this for a second though. Of course this rumor comes from ESPN; they hate stars in small markets.

Read the headline and last sentence of the article. The Cavs didn't congratulate him on making the Olympic Team or starting for the East. I wonder whether there is more to Chad's reporting than I initially thought?

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

From Jason Lloyd:

Why do I get the sense that the local reporters aren't shocked by this?

Re: Kyrie about to say bye bye
Reports like that have swirled for the better part of a year now, and it inevitably will come up again tonight when the Cavs play at New York. How convenient, particularly since at least one of the previous reports came out of New York and indicated Irving wants to play for the Knicks
Typical ESPN BS, and RealGM overreaction
