100% agree. We're seeing pretty much 0 in terms of player development and Brown simply isn't putting guys in a position to succeed. He wants to hedge screens hard when we don't have the personnel to protect the rim on drives, or the perimeter length to contest shooters.

He's pretty much trying to fit the team to his schemes, instead of working his coaching around the kind of roster he was given. This team gets zero easy baskets and we work so hard to score. We don't maximize guys strengths. There's no reason why Luol Deng should be isolating and shooting 3s on the majority of his touches.

This should be a scrappy running team that forces turnovers and gets on the fast break. Fun basketball. Brown would rather sit in the half court and run a stagnant offense and an ineffective defense that doesn't force any turnovers.

Until Brown is fired, this team isn't going anywhere. Grant deserves blame for hiring him back, and although I think his draft "errors" are very much overblown, his free agency signings this past year were atrocious. We could have done better just resigning Speights, Livingston, and Ellington.

I wouldn't change a word of this post. Spot on.
