As evidenced by the stretch of games when Kyrie was out (surprise, surprise). Dion is a better defender, more willing passer, and more durable. He doesn't shoot from deep as well, but doesn't often dribble the air out of the ball as Kyrie does.
I don't think he is a max player yet. But if the team wants to keep him they will have to pay him max money, I just don't know if he will ever be worth it. And, he hasn't shown any inclination to be anything other than the first option on offense. Unless he ends up on a team with Lebron or KG I don't think he will cede being the first option.
Being that he is a PG and has the ball in his hands to initiate the offense it doesn't seem to me that his shoot first mentality will change.
I agree that if we can move him for a top 3 pick that turns into Wiggins or Embiid and a solid player I think it would make the team better.

I'm starting to think that half of RealGM doesn't grasp the concept of age.

I am 47, I fully understand the concept of age. Some guys with terrific talent never get past their ego. Remember Steve Francis? Look at Rudy Gay, is he worth the money? Wouldn't it be more of a productive conversation if you actually responded to the points in someone's posts rather than throw veiled insults at them?

Ok, you're being one of the people who quickly gloss over, if not outright ignore, the importance of youth and development when discussing Kyrie (or whoever else the topic may be). I never said that every young player develops like we'd hope. But it's still an insanely huge factor that just gets shoved under the table by his detractors.

What's your problem? He said nothing about you, stop being defensive.

What the hell is he your boyfriend? He's clearly trying my team but I wasn't talking to you I was talking to him.

You'll pick a new team after this season anyways, no need to be so upset.

Go back and re-read my post that you initially responded to. I think I covered it well enough. If you are so into your opinion that you cant grasp what I said then it isn't worth discussing any further.

This thread is mis-titled. It should read: Heat fans trolls Cleveland board and then insults them when called out on it. Seriously though - who has the keys? It's time to lock this baby up.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

How am I trolling? I saw this on their site and posted it because I though you guys would be interested in it. And the only reason I went back was because they were attacking my team.

We will sign Kyrie to this offer and it's no big deal. He will still have enormous trade value.

To be honest, I have no idea why anyone thought this was worth discussing. Of course the Cavs were going to offer Kyrie a contract. You'd have to be a complete fool to think otherwise

Geesh.. can't I take a day off around here?

This thread is pointless, and seems like its only fodder for arguments. Im good on that.
