I knew there was a bit of anti Waiters bias there.

Look, I like Waiters, I truly think he broke up the Irving/Thompson "clique" that was ruining the cavs locker room. And I think he has potential to be a good second tier SG as well. However as presently constructed this team doesn't need an undersized 2 who is average defensively.

If we can trade him while his value is high I'd love to do so, but I won't cry if he's on our team in October either.

I don't think his value is high and I have no idea how you think you'd know what this team which has never played even a minute together might need. The team isn't constructed, it's under construction.

Common sense says we don't need two guards under 6'4, I mean it doesn't take an Einstein to work that out.

It's not ideal, but I don't think it's a situation that you get rid of at all costs. That just doesn't make sense.

Can we stop calling a 6'4" 220lbs. SG with a 6'7"+ wing span undersized? I mean really, are we balking at an inch of overall height?
