Game 26: Cavs vs. Memphis Grizzlies 4:30 EST, NBALP FSO

Post#1 » by King Stannis » Sun Dec 21, 2014 8:45 am

The Cavaliers square off against one of the league's best teams as they host the Memphis Grizzlies. The Cavs are coming off a surprisingly hard-fought victory over the Brooklyn Nets, but continue to have issues with playing defense for the entire game. Both Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving have struggled over the past two games to find their rhythm on offense while Mike Miller made a strong statement with his first start at SG, hitting 7/8 from three-point land. The Grizz continue to impress with a 21-5 record despite a loss to the Bulls earlier in the week.

Carried by NBA League Pass and Fox Sports Ohio.

Keys to the Game:

1. Play defense, dammit!
2. Hustle and intensity.
3. Get Love and Irving going early.
4. Rebound, rebound, rebound.
5. Bench production.
6. 20,562 rocking the Q.

Recommendations:

Post their bigs up and put them in foul trouble early. Run, boys, RUN!
Bend the knee.

I still am happy K. Love is on the team but whoever has weak-side defensive responsibility should probably just start rotating as soon as K. Love's man sets the pick.

Dion had his best game of the year.

Love has four blocked shots in the past two games. Good defense. It is also the number of second half shots he had over two games.

Has anybody realized we win when Love scores less?

Yes. Can we get Wiggins and Hawes back?

They got him involved and let him play. When both Kyrie and LeBron are moving the ball this team can beat anyone.

I think we were show casing him to Memphis. When someone who sucks covers you you look better. Without two key players and minuted minutes in Gasol we should have won

I didn't mean that. I just find it to be odd but it is a small sample size still.
