Game 54: Cavs vs. Miami Heat 8:00 EST, ESPN

Post#1 » by King Stannis » Wed Feb 11, 2015 8:36 am

The Cavs look to go 14-2 since LeBron James returned as they face the Heat. The Cavs are coming off an emphatic win over the LA Lakers. The Heat ended a three-game skid by beating the Knicks on Monday night. The Cavaliers have won ten-straight at home.

Carried by ESPN.

Keys to the Game:

1. Tough, swarming defense.
2. Pass the ball on offense.
3. Love stays hot.
4. One of the other Big Three also goes off.
5. Boards and swats.

Just toyed with them all night. Hopefully Love is alright. He was just starting to get it rolling.

Corneal scratch of the right eye. Doesn't seem serious. He may even play tomorrow.

This type of injury is fully healed within a week. Had it before. It hurts like a B.

I hate games like this. We are killing the team and then just start going into Globetrotter mode. Way too many turnovers and bad shots but the Cavs were never in any real danger of losing this game. Of course, this is also how we ended up losing that Indy game. Gotta just put teams away. Teams start making those crazy buzzer beaters to keep them in games tend to be dangerous down the stretch.

The team took off for the All-Star break early. They didn't show up in Chicago tonight.

Awful game. J. Jones sucks. I'm done with that guy. Marion wasn't much better. JR and Shump played poorly. We need better guard play against Chicago in the playoffs.

I think we can still finish second in the East but that still doesn't make tonight feel any better.

LeBron and Kyrie didn't play very well either.

Agree about LBJ and Kyrie. But with Love out, one of those guards needed to step up at least on the defensive end. Butler didn't even play tonight.

Sorry gents. I was out all day. I'll throw up a thread for posterity's sake. Also, if anyone else wants to take over I wouldn't mind.

I see Bulls fans crowing, but honestly, I think most of us suspected a loss and, meh. No one is afraid of the Bulls.
