Not delusional, I fully agree. Some people are homers, some people are pessimistic and a smaller amount are level headed in the middle. I'm extremely pessimistic about our future after the offseason and the implications of this next off season. If the Brooklyn/Mavs/Wolves picks aren't gold, we're looking at eight years or more before a real chance at our 18th championship. We aren't the better team nor are we even near your level, imo. Indeed, much of the fanbase has been delusional for some time as well, but most guys on here know what's up even if they don't say it outright.

Don't really understand why people are latching onto that one comment, saying they dislike it, and continuing to bring it up. Its just my opinion/prediction at this point in the season. It doesn't affect your season in any way.

Jefferson's defense was no where near this good in Dallas, improviser, but we can agree to disagree. It doesn't really matter does it? He's playing well for your team now and I was emphasizing that.

You guys seem angry about a good win? I don't understand.

PG depth is definitely solid as ****. Most def. Meant more overall, but maybe let's drop that subject as I accidentally offended some people (I think?).

Who are you aiming for in the draft with the Nets pick? Simmons?

I'm a basketball junkie who unfortunately hates College basketball (the games are undeniably awful and I don't care about March Madness betting), so I only have seen the clips online and highlights from him, but he looks pretty incredible. No jumpshot at all and no real consistent form in his shot, which is necessary to make it in this league, but barring anything crazy happening, he looks to be the consensus number one pick and my pick as well. Dude is a **** beast.

However, Dragan intrigues me greatly, I think he may end up the best player from that draft if Simmons cannot adjust or develop a shot, but it would be a catastrophic failure leading to the firing of a GM (Danny in our case) and changes in an org if Dragan doesn't pan out or is a bust, plus he probably wouldn't be able to come over immediately.

But its a longshot that we even get that good a pick, dude. We would need Brooklyn to lose out as much as they possibly can just to have a percentage chance at the top pick. We can still get **** if our luck is bad (lord knows it has been recently) or if Brooklyn wins enough. I watch a ton of Brooklyn games and now follow their team to monitor this stuff, but I in no way believe we will get the number one pick. As I said, I am a pessimist, and its a long season. Brooklyn looks better than they did to start, but injuries and schedule will affect them.

I'm pretty down on the Celtics future though, to the point where I'm not seeing the good in front of me most of the time. Its possible Crowder, Mickey, Smart (I guess), or one of our rookies randomly becomes a star or very, very good and consistent. One thing is for sure: Durant isn't coming here. I can only pray somehow Westbrook becomes a Celtic or we make a play for Davis (the only real possibility imo) when allowed in his contract and try to build around another KG type.

Any draft tricks you'd like to share? You guys are pretty good at getting top picks ;) Maybe we can borrow Gilbert's son for the night if we manage to get it? That kid is good luck/mad skilled at ripping apart the fabric of percentages, haha.

We haven't had a #1 pick since 1950 I believe. Rough stuff.

Yeah I really like Simmons, and honestly he'd be perfect on the Celtics. As for his outside shot, that's definitely an issue, but LeBron didn't come in with one either. Heck, as I'm sure you saw today, it's been awful since the start of the playoffs last year. Simmons seems like the type to work hard enough to develop a decent jumper.

Brooklyn might not end up with the worst record, but I think they're guaranteed to be in the bottom 4. And maybe bottom 3, since New Orleans will most likely still try to make a push for the playoffs, especially with all their injured guys back. Only the Lakers and the Sixers are guaranteed to end up worse in my opinion. As long as the Nets fall in the bottom three, they have a good chance at winning the lottery and getting that number one pick, which is what it'll probably take to snag Simmons.

Nick Gilbert is definitely your best bet for lottery luck. The kid poops four-leaf clovers. Though honestly I haven't even seen him since like the 2011 Draft. Who knows what he's up to now? If we can track him down though, you can borrow him for the lottery in exchange for our pick back.

Man how soft is crowder lmao asking JR for an apology months later. If you have to ask for an apology it's not going to be sincere. Love how JR responded to him. Keep holding your breath crowder. If you wanna play physical then don't cry when you get hurt.

Just glad we got out with our arms intact.

Honestly, that was the dirtiest play I've ever seen in basketball. The closest thing was in hockey when bertuzzi slammed Moore's face into the ice and was suspended for the season. Jr should apologize and his response is beyond childish, I have no idea how he only got a 2 game suspension it was a complete joke. Crowder show's quite a bit of restraint not returning the favor in game.

You must have just started watching basketball.

Not doubting it was dirty or not. But you don't ask for an apology.

That's true you don't ask for an apology. However let's say he returned the favor in the nba and threw a sucker punch or the same a spinning back fist on an unsuspecting jr mid game, would the repercussions of his actions be worse than jr? Does he even have the option of getting even?

Crowder was hitting him all series long and Jr made a mistake, 2 game suspension was enough, are you serious?

So if Crowder sucker punched jr in retaliation and knocked him out say next game how many games would you think he should get? 2?
