I want Wade to go Denver at this point.

Because he feels like he's owed and been burnt. His close ties to LBJ are a double-edged sword. He's not a good defender anymore. He's not a good outside shooter. Quite frankly, Riley's right - he's not worth a $50 million contract over two year. I mean if winning was the priority, he wouldn't be meeting with the Nuggets.

Well money is the issue but I think he's easily worth 50/2, especially to the heat.

He's still a really good player that had a good season and really good playoffs. It's a short contract and if you compare 25 mil to what others got this off season (bar durant) it's quite easily his value.

Yeah but anticipated future performance is priced into contracts. His injury history, age, playing style and ability to play back-to-back have to matter. Let me put it this way, is there a contender that would clear or even hold that much space to sign Wade? I mean we lost Delly on a fairly reasonable deal because of the luxury tax and JR's new contract. I could see us in the same situation as Miami a year from now only with the added bonus of LBJ threatening not to re-sign if we didn't make moves to give Wade his money.
