Lebron finally signed

Post#1 » by Gibson22 » Thu Aug 11, 2016 10:22 pm

Lebron a 3 yrs 100 mlns ($99,857,127) contract with us! 31/33/35. He (and cp3, and melo, and dwade) will be free agent in 2018-19.
At the end of the video in which he announced his resigning, he said that it's time to resign jr. So, we don't have any space to do anything, but we have the full squad back.
Lebron got money. A lot of it. Lebron James is a very rich man

This is a really odd contract for lebron to sign. Can anyone reason as to why he wouldn't take the 1+1 for more money next year?

I think this must have some grand implications on the lockout situation next year. Like he doesn't want to be a free agent so he can appeal to the union "hey I'm signed for 33m I'm losing money too if we hold out"

Ultimately everyone is gonna make some much money next year its tough to force a holdout but guys like Ben simmons have hundreds of millions on the line if they can convince the union to stand firm and tryto abolish the salary cap.

Imo, they compromise at like 53% players / 47% owners. Can't imagine another 50/50 player screw job. Not with the union big guns leading the charge like cp3 and lebron
