I hope that it went down like the story says. I didn't think that Wade's ego would let this happen. I guess I was wrong about that. The floor spacing will definitely improve with JR starting.

Shump > JR, but I agree this was a necessary overdue move for Cleveland. Rose and Wade starting together is a spacing nightmare and Wade doesn't make sense in a starting lineup with Bron and Isaiah come playoff time as a 3rd creator either.

The problem is if you can't play Wade with Rose and you can't play him with Bron and Isaiah, when exactly do you play him in the playoffs? The 5 minutes a game Bron sits? He's basically injury depth at this point.

Honestly, if I'm Lue, I probably have Wade and Rose split the point guard minutes evenly, alternating starts and compete for the spot. If Isaiah come back healthy and looks good, the winner can get the backup spot. If not, the winner can be the starter.
