Lebron hurt. Doesn't matter, this team has no chance until IT gets back and they get some front court help.

I know insane right. Lets just hope we keep it at .500 until the ASB and Isiah has no setbacks and we have to have to have to get another big man. If you can't see that i don't know what to tell you.

You were saying ....... ? You are incorrect my friend this team is still legit as is.
With Shump out there in the starting lineup and Green instead of Crowder we are solid defensively .
That should be the starting 5 against teams like Rockets as anyone else Rose,IT are not capable of the same defensive impact
Shump
Smith
Green
LeBron
Love
Wade 6th man

Incorrect about what exactly? That this is a good team? Its not. 5 offensive boards in a row. The only reason they had a shot is because of missed free throws. 117 points. The defense is abysmal. James Harden didn't even notice Shump to act like starting him is the answer is a joke. Even if that were the answer its not going to happen so whats your point?

Is that why every run they went on was with Shump not playing? We got killed by Capella at the end of the game with Love fouled out.
Yeah our defense is still far from great but it isn't by any means abismal with Shump and J.R. in the back court. Starting him is only joke because his defense is usually more needed against larger wings. These pathetic arguments against Shumpert are always indicative of posters who have absolutely no idea what on ball defense does for your offense. With a better offensive player than Shump the drop off defensively negates their offense.
If Lue would take more chances and utilize Zizic as Loves backup in this game at the end ,the outcome is different, not too mention TT is out and his presence at that point makes Capella come back to earth.
But if you want to trade the roster away for a couple of different specialist players I don't know who you think is making us more equipped that would be available or really make us better than we can be when clicking come any playoff series.
The point is some line ups like using Shump in the starting lineup makes a lot of sense at created offensive opportunities and obviously getting stops or at minimum forcing the other team into tough shots,if the whole team played defense like Shump does we'd have a top 3 defense not a bottom 3.

Couple thoughts: Game was okay. Jeff Green hit a lot of shots he normally wouldn't. I thought the Rockets were the beneficiaries of some garbage calls. Given the fact that TT, IT, & D. Rose were all out, I expected us to lose to the Rockets in Houston.

As far as rebounding, we have three good rebounders on the team now that Kyrie is gone (who was a very good rebounder out of the PG position). TT (hurt), LBJ (when he wants to be), and Love. Two of those three need to be on the court at the same time otherwise opposing teams just put bodies on the one good rebounder we have on the floor.

Lue staggered LBJ & Love until late in the fourth quarter (don't know why). Capela lead everyone with 13 rebounds. Jame Harden had 11 rebounds. PJ Tucker had 9 rebounds. Love lead the Cavs with 6 rebounds. Crowder & Green had 5 each. LBJ had 4 rebounds.

LBJ played the entire third quarter without resting - again. I mean I sound like a broken record but if LBJ isn't going to manage his minutes better on his own, Lue has to do it for him.

Final thought: D. Wade was -21 tonight (worst on the team). They didn't have much of a choice b/c D. Rose was out, again, and Calderon is unplayable. That said Wade, like LBJ, starts producing negative returns when you leave him out there too long only Wade's decline is much steeper. Lue is going to have to watch his minutes - especially against good teams.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

Jeff green would be a great role player if he just played defense, ran the floor and stopped taking those ridiculous jumpers. He will make them just enough to maybe think its justified but man he could be a player if he just knew his role.
