Wow, this is was one of the best comments I've read on this forum in a long time. And that's saying something. My wife thought I was crazy because I couldn't stop laughing every time I thought about it.

Shump, an average to below average offensive player, is almost as good offensively as an ex-MVP who once led his team in scoring at 25ppg while being focused on by the other team defensively? Not only does this not pass the eye test by any stretch, the statistics don't even come close bearing it out, no matter how strong your imagination.

Your wife should advise you that we are no longer in 2011.

Shump has been doing a great job in the starting line up as I expected , not only defensively but is progressing in that role offensively as well and will continue to prove his impact is solid and reliable in that role and is a much better 2-way player than the offensive dominant likes of Rose and IT4. If either one of them played a lick of defense I would start them for the dynamic scoring ability, in the half court , but they do not and therefore are better served as scoring weapons not heavy minute players on a contender.
