Tyronn Lue Lacks Self Confidence.

Post#1 » by theman » Wed May 16, 2018 2:56 pm

From what I am see I think Tyronn Lue isn't confident in his own coaching ability and therefore needs to lean on veteran players. What else explains Hill, Smith and Green getting so many minutes, and sucking and Hood, Clarkson and Nance sitting on the bench.

Would this series be closer if Thomas and Crowder were still on the team?

We wouldn't be in this series if IT and Crowder were still on the team. The Pacers or Raptors would be playing the Celtics.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

Lue has been to reliant on Smith's historical capabilities offensively in this series, but Hood has been to soft defensively throughout the playoffs. Cedi should get some action, but he can't shoot and that is known.
idk Hill was big for us before this series and green has been pretty solid throughout the post season as well.
Crowder might have been helpful at the 3 but he was never utilized in that way and wouldn't have been, IT3 was never going to be a factor.
