Which of the following is the most likely pick?

Mohamed Bamba
Miles Bridges
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Wendell Carter Jr.
Collin Sexton
Some one else entirely?

don't see Bamba falling past Orlando even if Dallas passes on him if he's there which I doubt at least not for Porter.
Definitely don't see Chicago taking Bridges over Bamba.
So Porter or Mikal are the most likely pick barring a huge workout by Sexton or Miles.

You would take Bamba if he was there?

I think Cleveland should target forwards—those versatile 6-8 small forwards that can play the 3 or 4. That is where the league is going. I like Alexander as well. I think he could be really good in a few years.

What do you guys think of Rozier + MEM pick for the 8th pick?
Bet with Stillwater Celtics will finish 6th or higher in ECF Standings Regular Season(17-18). [WON]

I like it a lot for the Cavs, whether or not LeBron leaves. Immediate help if he stays, adds a pretty nice asset either way. That Memphis pick should be about 8 maybe better when it conveys. I don't get it for the Celtics, though.

This year is a stronger draft with bigs that we need.
We can’t pay Rozier anyway.
Take 2 uncertain assets (if MEM competes again next year which is plausible)
And consolidate into 1
Hopefully take Carter or Bamba to eventually be Horford replacement. And we get to keep our other premium asset (SAC pick)

Kyrie Brown Hayward Tatum Horford
Smart 27 pick Morris Thies Carter

Mikal looks to be skipping most of the combine testing , name not showing up on the Anthro.
Bamba and Frazier are freaks of nature...
Young confirms his pedestrian length having the worst recorded ws and the 3rd worst sr.

note these combine numbers for potential picks in the 8 range :
Khyri Thomas big east dpoy twice: 6'.25" w/o shoes and a +8 ,6'10.5"ws posted a respectable 35" max vert

Mikal Bridges tied dpoy with Thomas in 16-17 season... did not participate in athletic testing or anthro , but last known numbers were 6'7" in shoes w/ 7' ws.

Zhaire Smith 6'.275" w/o shoes and a + 7" , 6'.975" ws .also posted 3rd best max vert tied with Simons and Duval at 41.5" [Divincenzo & Okogie tied for 1st at 42" max verts]. SMith also posted 2nd fastest sprint after Okogie w/ 3.05.

Trae Young is 6'.05" w/o shoes with a 6'3"ws He did not participate in the athletic testing.

Collin Sexton is 6'.05" w/o shoes with a +7, 6'7.25"ws He didn't participate in the athletic testing.

Anfernee Simons 6'2.25" w/o shoes with a +7", 6'9.25"ws 41.5"max vert as noted above is tied for 2nd and tied for 5th best 3/4 court sprint with Diallo posting in at 3.10.

What are your guys thoughts on Lonnie Walker?

I’ve seen some people say he could end up being the “Donovan Mitchell” of this Draft.

Memphis would likely trade down to 8 having fallen out of the top 3 if they got a vet they liked...not thinking we'd go that route but only because the price would probably be too high to justify .

Supposedly the Hawks would be willing to trade down from the 3rd overall pick if “the right opportunity presents itself”.

It seems more like a pipe dream for us anyway since a lot of teams could outbid us.

I was reading it over on the trade board. Here’s the link if you’re interested.

yeah the reality is we are much more likely to trade the pick for a vet rather than trade up in the draft.

Starting to think this draft is possibly the best crop of prospects in recent memory at least 20 deep

2nd post combine mock
Cavs take risk trade down with LAC [doubtful mpj falls to 8 but if he will not cough up medical info to us or others before us he could,we could pick him a trade him for vets or pass and draft a different player but the idea to trade down like this would be decent as well]
draft a big pg in SGA with upside and maybe trade him for Kemba
draft 2 nba ready high level defenders and solid offensive players later by moving the 13 th for 19 and 30
adding Khyri Thomas and Bates-Diop would make this team better next year than 1 high upside frosh and prop the window open another couple seasons with Lebron.

I'd pass pretty easily. Rozier only has one year left on his rookie deal and there's no way of knowing where that Memphis pick ends up. I know for a fact that the Cavs F.O. still has a sour taste in their mouths after the extent of IT's injury became known. It would take an overpay by the Celtics to get No. 8. They're better off talking to a team like the Knicks.

Here is a short list of potential 1st rounders that have yet to sign with an agent:
DiVincenzo/ probably staying in the draft imo despite rumors of returning to Nova where it would be his team without Brunson.
Huerter/ combine probably will push him to stay in the draft, despite the odds still favoring his return to the Terps.
J Porter/ supposedly leaning towards returning to Mizzu after a lackluster combine.
Battle/ leaning towards staying , but should probably return due to a lackluster combine.
Evans/ leaning towards staying the draft, and is a fringe late first prospect.

Others who were testing the waters and hired agents:
Okogie/ wowed scouts at the combine solidifying a 1st round spot.
Thomas/ confirmed his status as a high level prospect at the combine.
Frazier/ stellar combine ,hired an agent.
