I'm not even sure how accurate this is, but I know that Kyrie has been getting a ton of criticism because he hasn't led the Cavs to the playoffs, but has love ever been to the playoffs? Why do people think he has this enormous value?

I'd do the Bucks trade but not Philly trade, don't think much of Parker, also not in favor of getting even younger, 3 high level rookies? man we'd need a helluva coach to manage all that.

Both MIL and PHI would turn down those offers.

Why would MIL trade #2 for Kyrie who would never re-sign with MIL?

PHI wouldn't trade #3 for Waiters/Varajeo/TT and 2 likely not that great #1's

I'd consider trading KI/Waiters/TT/AV for 3rd & mcw.

Philly wouldn't. They would laugh you off the phone so fast.

I doubt Philly does MCW for Irving as they are still deep in the rebuilding process and a max contract isn't something they can use right now. Then it is waiters/tt/av for 3, which is, at best, hilariously bad.

Most Orlando fan's wouldn't even do 4 for Irving.

This is the same fan base that thinks Afflalo is getting them a lottery pick.

Kyrie would re-sign with the Bucks for the same reason he'll re-sign with the Cavs if push comes to shove. No one ever turns down their first $60 million contract. Maybe your second, but not your first.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

This has probably been posted before, but I'm going to go through and do a comparison for fun of #1 vs #3/#10 (clear winners in bold)

2013 - Bennett vs Oladipo/McCollum
2012 - Davis vs Beal/Rivers
2011 - Irving vs Kanter/Fredette
2010 - Wall vs Favors/George
2009 - Griffin vs Harden/Jennings
2008 - Rose vs Mayo/Lopez
2007 - Oden vs Horford/Hawes
2006 - Bargnani vs Morrison/Sene
2005 - Bogut vs DWill/Bynum
2004 - Howard vs Ben Gordon/Luke Jackson
2003 - LeBron vs Melo/Jarvis Hayes
2002 - Yao vs Dunleavy/Caron Butler
2001 - Kwame vs Pau Gasol/Joe Johnson
2000 - Kenyon Martin vs Darius Miles/Keyon Dooling
1999 - Brand vs Baron Davis/Jason Terry
1998 - Olowakondi vs LaFrentz/Pierce
1997 - Duncan vs Billups/Fortson
1996 - Iverson vs Shareef Abdur-Rahim/Dampier
1995 - Joe Smith vs Stackhouse/Kurt Thomas
1994 - Glenn Robinson vs Grant Hill/Eddie Jones

IMO 9 times #1 was clearly better, 5 times #3/#10 was clearly better, and 6 times it was comparable or undecided (Oladipo was way better than Bennett last year, but they're so new to the league that I'd rather leave it as 'undecided').

BTW, am I seeing this right that LeBron and Duncan are the only two #1 picks in the last 20 years to have won a title??

That is partly because of how concentrated titles are in the NBA:

Since 1994, 10/20 of the Champions had a #1 Pick (Shaq, Duncan, Lebron)

no. but we are hoping that our lottery pick +AA can move us up some. every fan base has their odd balls, but most of us know that AA isnt going to fetch back a lottery pick.

2008 - Rose vs Mayo/Lopez

You can safely do those.

If Kyrie won't sign the extension...

CLE & OKC Trade: Kyrie Irving FOR Russell Westbrook
and
CLE & MIN Trade: #1 pick, Tristan Thompson, Anthony Bennett, Jarrett Jack FOR Kevin Love, Gorgui Dieng, #13 pick
