All those guys were really late picks. I'm not sure why anyone would have expected them to play significantly. Heck, Waiters didn't start getting consistent minutes until about halfway though the season. You have to prove you deserve the time no matter who the coach is.

BTW isn't it amusing how so many people (on here) have us among the 2-3 worst drafts, while almost actual sports sites have us with at least a B not to mention if you just look at talent added during the draft we're probably in the top 3-4?

So you expect Sergey to only get garbage minutes this season then? Drafted same spot as Hickson if i'm not mistaken?

Well Gee isn't that good and he has the NBA skill that makes you most ready to contribute in spot duty (3 pt shooting) but I doubt he averages over 15 minutes a game.

Sergey was drafted to a team that is among the worst in the league while Hickson went to one that was among the best and trying to win a title. I'm thinking the situations differ a tad.

Eh i remember Brown refusing to play hickson against the c's in 2010 playoffs when Jamison was the worst player in the series and hickson had performed well against boston in the year. It was annoying.

I'll be shocked if Karasev plays much more than 10mpg over the course of the season, I'd put the over under at about 700 minutes. If we go into full tank, this goes out the window, of course.

So all the highlights of bennet I've seen scream SF to me. Not sure why people are saying he cannot play the 3.

Offensively I think you're right. He's by no means a point forward type - at all. With Waiters and Irving he'd be by default off the ball anyway though. I think he can do it no problem....on the offensive end.

The question is on defense. Although since he played for UNLV nobody even knows if he can play defense.
