not sure what's the deal about AV being untouchable either.

I can only assume they are saving him for a Love trade.

Hm yeah.

I don't think any body should be untradable

I'd just hate to see Waiters traded because his stats are misleading & we won't be able to get fair value back.

I would trade Waiters for Love, but that's it.

The Waiters+TT trade for Love would be 3ideal.

What do y'all think about this deal (contingent on getting Lebron). To be clear I'm not a fan of any of these three teams.

Cavs send:
Andrew Wiggins
Tyler Zeller
Anthony Bennett
Tristan Thompson

receive
Kevin Love
Larry Sanders

Minnesota sends
Kevin Love
Nikola Pekovic

receives
Andrew Wiggins
Anthony Bennett
Brandon Knight
Tristan Thompson
Tyler Zeller
Lightly protected Milwaukee first

Bucks send
Larry Sanders
Brandon Knight
Lightly protected Milwaukee first

receive
Nikola Pekovic

Value seems a little rich for Minny, but I think if Wiggins was to be included you should get a second piece of value and the best I could think of was Larry Sanders.

Tristan is friends with LeBron, if you trade for Love will be something like Karasev, Waiters, Bennett, some fillers like Hopson or unguaranteed deals, and 2 firsts, maybe even Jack.

Varejao and Thompson will play some Center, with Zeller, you could sign a vet like Andersen I guess, probably Ray Allen will come for the min also.

who's offering more?

Chicago at most will offer something like capspace, Mirotic, Snell and draft picks.
Golden St., Lee contract... and maybe Thompson, who you have to re-sign for loads of money next year, it's not a clearly better offer.

Minnesota is in a terrible position.

When Melo resigns with Knicks and LeBron stays in Miami or goes to Cle multiple teams will be vying for Kevin Love. How is that a terrible position?

The market for Love hasn't gone up since the draft, where #1 was worth more than a rental of Love. Nothing has changed.

I always laugh when I see the resident idiots from LA, NY and Miami, mock Cleveland or Minneapolis for not being LA/NY/MIA.

I have lived in many cities, Miami, Cleveland, Minneapolis included, and can honestly say Minneapolis is the second best (live in and love Seattle) in most measures that count to regular, non-millionaire NBA types. In fact, LA, NY and Miami are fetid ****-holes and awful places to live. Especially Miami.

East and west coasters seem convinced that 99% of the intelligence in this country is concentrated in LA/San francisco and New York/Boston. The rest of us are a black hole to them. lol

Plus flip has a full season to convince love to stay.... Those are good odds for minny.. Packages will get offered once melo and Lebron find a home... They will stay on table till deadline and new ones will appear.. Besides we already know and agree.. Once Houston loses melo, then bosh, they will hit love talks hard...that team seems to always need to be center stage lately..they will raise everyone's offers alone.. Life goes on.. We figure it out.. And if he walks.. 15 million off books..

LBJ-Melo scheming...who gets screwed?

Post#1495 » by bisonblu » Wed Jul 9, 2014 10:09 pm

LBJ-Melo scheming...
Somebody bout to get screwed...

LBJ-Melo create FA traffic jam...
Buy time for sweet heart deals...
Create Legion of Doom 2...

Hawks path to Finals:

Deng nor Monroe alone, do much...cap eaters
Good, safe players but NOT transcendent...
Sign, trade, acquire 2-3 under radar...
before bubble bursts...

Trade Teague $8M to Bucks for OJ Mayo $8M...
Good trade for both teams...Hawks save $8M...
Teague redundant w Schroder...

Trade for Bargnani, Calderon...
NYK gets $9M-$11M cap space...Allstar
If Budz system, turned #47 pick, Millsap into Allstar...
What it do for #1 pick, Bargnani, 7ft w 3pt range?...

Sign former #2 Evan Turner b4 bubble bursts...
6'7, versatile, G-F is transcendant talent...
Take advantage of market correction...
Bucz system amplifies his skillset...

Bargnani 2006 #1 pick...
Evan Turner 2010 #2 pick...
OJ Mayo 2008 #3 pick....

Calderon, Mack, Schroder
Mayo, Korver, Jenkins
Sefalosha, Scott, Turner
Horford, Payne, Brand
Bargnani, Tavares

Hawks get more talent...bigger, better, deeper...
Build around Horford, Korver, Payne, Mack...
Bargnani, Mayo, Turner have greater upside...
Budz system fits, turns them into Allstars...
Gets ATL to Finals...

I would not trade Wiggins until you play him for awhile.
Just cause Lebron is coming you don't trade the future Kobe/Jordan.
I would keep Wiggins and trade everyone else beside Kyrie.

Klove and walk next year.
