Congrats on Lebron, well deserved. Prepare to be inundated with Wolves fans for a K. Love trade. You will be able to make a deal with Flip, but their fans are the least knowledgeable on the board. Clueless on players value, and will still think they are in the drivers seat regarding a Love deal. They will expect Wiggins, Thompson, Waiters, and possibally Irving in exchange for Love, Martin, Budinger. They will say Waiters sucks, as does Thompson and Bennett. When you disagree, they will say it ok, we have a better deal for Boston's horrible players!

i dont think they will at least not before the trade deadline

best move would be:

see what he can do first.. and if hes superb.. keep him, forget about Love and get some more good role players instead

if he is not that great but good enough to get Love at the deadline then you do it..

but first you need to give him a try.. hes way too talented to not at least see what he can do next to Lebron and Kyrie

It sounds like Miller is a lock, hopefully LeBron can talk Ray into becoming a Cav also.

I know there's a lot of talk about moving him, and there's a lot of different opinions on that, but I'm just trying to gauge his value. Cavs fans: What is an offer you would accept for Dion Waiters? Not in a deal for a Love or anyone, just as a singular piece or with a filler like Hopson.

Thanks

Nothing on the Knicks.

Hopson is gone.

so just Waiters and fillers?

hmm a elite defensive player(Center would be best) and a solid shooter

because thats 2 things this new Team needs.

Wasn't talking about the Knicks. We don't need or want Waiters and don't have pieces to get him even if we did.

Was asking the question in a general sense. With his name always being thrown around in trades it'd be nice to know what Cavs fans actually want.

Would you guys do Bennet and the Memphis pick for Love? I think that is fair.

at the draft I would consider give up 2 first and waiters for the highest pick we can and just take the top C, and some role players to make salary work.

he's expandable with Wiggins to fill a starting need. He's got 20+ PPG potential, but so does wiggins, and wiggins will be cheaper for the next 2-3 years.

If he's expandable, we could just play Waiters at center. To be honest, we really don't know if he's expendable or not.

My take on Love trade

Post#1520 » by Chello1 » Mon Jul 14, 2014 5:04 am

This is my take on where we are at reading between the lines.

Wiggins is in the deal. Cleveland has a week to try and get Klay out of Golden State so they can keep Wiggins. If they can't get something to interest Golden State to throw Klay in; the deal reverts back to a two team trade and the wolves will get Wiggins.
