Fair? More than enough? Future pick needed?

Not close. IT isn't needed on the Cavs. They already have Kyrie/Delly/Mo Williams. They don't need another undersized PG who is a defensive liability. The only trade that would make any sense for the Cavs would included Crowder, Kelly O, and Batum from Charlotte. Boston would have to pay the price for a half season rental of Batum which might actually mean Bradley and the 1st. Bradley is a nice piece but it's hard to see the value added to the Cavs who already have a Kyrie/Delly/Shump/JR rotation. Plus the Cavs like Cunningham. I'd probably send out J. Jones or Kuan or someone else. Honestly, I have a really hard time seeing the Cavs trading Love mid season.

Hey thanks for the feedback. It's difficult with the Love deals because he's always the best player in the deal.
And yeah I can't see any world in which the Cavs trade Love midseason, if anything happens it's this offseason.

Boston IN: Kevin Love, Richard Jefferson
Boston OUT: Jae Crowder, Kelly Olynyk, Evan Turner, Jonas Jerebko, 2016 BOS 1st rd pick

Phoenix IN: Evan Turner, Jonas Jerebko, James Young worse of BOS 1st rd pick
Phoenix OUT: Markieff Morris

Cleveland IN: Jae Crowder, Kelly Olynyk, Markieff Morris
Cleveland OUT: Kevin Love, Richard Jefferson

better?
One day Marcus Smart will be defensive player of the year, mark my words.

It was reported that the Cavs players were open to adding Kieff with the TPE and that the F.O. wasn't a fan of that idea at all. In the off season, much is going to depend on how much it costs the Cavs to retain Delly. Because if they lose Delly, all of a sudden Bradley looks like a better option.

That's where it gets really tough for our front office.
Bringing Love here is predicated on him being surrounded by our defensive pitbulls of Jae, Bradley and Smart.
I actually think that Ainge would let this deal pass if Bradley had to be included.
The only change I could see him agreeing to, would be if we added Isaiah Thomas and you guys send Cunnigham back to us too.

IT will very likely be an All Star this season selected by the coaches, would be the ultimate 6th man off the bench for you guys vs the Warriors/Spurs and keeps the pressure on offensively when Kyrie is off.

So it becomes:
Boston IN: Kevin Love, Richard Jefferson
Boston OUT: Jae Crowder, Kelly Olynyk, Isaiah Thomas, Evan Turner, Jonas Jerebko, 2016 BOS 1st rd pick

Phoenix IN: Evan Turner, Jonas Jerebko, 2016 BOS 1st rd pick
Phoenix OUT: Markieff Morris

Isaiah Thomas' stats this season:
21.8 points 6.6 assists on 42% FG in 32 mins a game- and that's vs starters.
In his bench role he'd score less points but likely be even more efficient.
Shoots 34% from three, contract is a poultry $6.5 million per year.
One day Marcus Smart will be defensive player of the year, mark my words.

No we aren't trading Love for three bad defenders. What would be the point?

Cavs and Rockets swap Love and Mozgov for Howard and a PF and cut out everyone else.

I'm fine with that. This season's motto is quickly becoming "It just doesn't matter."

How about this trade... Would you do this?

Kevin Love for Giannis Antetokounmpo + fillers (Mayo+Vasquez)

Giannis is an energy boost, fast pace, an upgrade for the defence of Cleveland, and a transition threat as the Cavs want to play faster...
Bucks get Love, rebound upgrade, shooting upgrade. Jabari moves to the SF position as he drafted for.

You guys have Parker and Monroe already. Kyrie for Giannis + MCW makes a lot more sense.

No freaking way Giannis gets moved for love. That would be the worst trade in bucks history.

If any deal is done it will be much closer to the deadline. Kevin Love looks completely regenergised with Lue now using him to his strengths. He was a beast in the middle, even on defence (within his own limitations).

Love isn't the problem he is being made out to be. He might have been when standing around waiting for catch and shoot threes.. but no longer.

Kyrie's perimeter defence is a leak that needs plugging before the finals.
