It's early, but I'm way too worried.

Smallball is not working but Lauri is having 'one of those nights' (he's prone to that).

RR is not dominating the game yet. He puts some buckets, assists, steals and rhythm, at least.

I'm liking Kokoro. Guy knows his s*hit.
Sex T and Gar T... reasonably helping the team.

It could get worse.

The crazy part is we're seeing the good version of Cedi.

2 worrying things

1) The Cavs, despite having 3pt shooter like Love, Garland, Sexton, Lauri STILL are a horrific 3pt shooting team. It will never make sense

2) You have 12 7 footers on the floor and all I see are bums like Desmond Bane and Kyle Anderson shredding the Cavs in the paint for easy layups.

The Grizzlies have 1/2 the amount of talent the Cavs have on their roster and are smoking the Cavs with guys named Desmond Bane.

The good news is we only gave up 73 points at half.

Seriously though, if Ross and Harris are available for Love and a lightly protected 1st, make it happen.

I'm trying not to get conclussions out of 5 circus-games and one half of a Late Pre Season match.

So I address my question to those who have seen them from long:

Does always Gar L and Sex T play backcourt so absolutely isolated one from another?

Love is the least of the Cavs worries. Having 3 7 footers on the court and giving up 40+ paint points in a half is unacceptable and flat out embarrassing. If Lauri and Garland are not serious 3pt threats--they are basically tradable for 2nd round picks. If the Cavs plan on making guys like Bane be actual difference makers every night this season, then they should just pack it up now.

Now to the positives: Sexton looks more in control. Allen has been fantastic. Rubio might be the best acquisition the Cavs have made since JR Smith.

Even though Lauri wants to show that he can do more than stand in the corner and shoot 3's but right now he should be shooting more 3's. I get that Cavs went for the paint since Allen was getting free dunks there all the time but it didn't even look like they were looking to get 3 point shots.
Not knowing the details but even with Mobley and Allen under the basket Lauri was constantly hovering for rebounds. Since Lauri isn't really the guy who tries to stat pad, I would think this is something JBB has wanted the team to focus on, rebounding better. With small ball and Garland and Sexton being all over the place in defense this caused there to be a free man at the arc all the time.

They share way, way too many minutes. Garland's better. Sexton wants it more.

I meant if it's normal they barely pass the ball each other or even speak each other at court.

It looks visually weird... when one of them has the rock, the other one lower his head and seems often out of the play.

Your not wrong, they are a terrible fit together stylistically but we have to play them together because.....well just because.

I wonder if Mobley is ok. He seems passive and hesitant to do anything.

He looked the same way in the preseason. He just seems timid and a little *gulp*....soft.

Im not asking for a bunch of Kevin Garnetts, but the Cavs have to show some aggression and bite. They have a few too many soft spoken finesse players who 'aw shucks' whenever they mess up.
