I'm with you LeRydee. I don't think that Brown likes playing guys big minutes (except LeBron who'd kick his butt) if he has a choice. He likes the guys to come out and play with energy so the fewer minutes the better which should allow them to max out their defensive efforts. I do however give Sasha a pretty good chance of starting just because his defense is better than that of Wally's.

that poster is/was a full page ad in the sunday plain dealer sports section too
I think Sasha starts at the 2 as soon as he is healthy..
but i think Boobie is going to get a lot of run there alongside West.. either can be the point..
but theres just too many options and Mike Brown is too erratic dishing out the minutes..

Just question? Isn't Lebron better suited to play the two guard position than Wally. Anyway I think you guys should start Delonte West at two guard, have Gibson start at the point and Lebron running the show at the three...
C- Big-Z
PF- Joe Smith
SF- Lebron
SG- West
PG Gibson
6th man - Wally/Ben Wallace

Gibson is better coming off the bench...West is more of PG than Gibson anyway.
West/Gibson/Jones
Sasha/Wally/Gibson
LeBron/Devin/Wally
Big Ben/Joe Smooth/AV
Big Z/AV/Jones

I'm not sure that Gibson is better off the bench but he is definitely the most likely to go to the bench. That's more of a function of how Brown likes to coach. But as has been mentioned repeated, it's not who starts it's who finishes that matters.
While Delonte will likely start I'm pretty sure it'll be opposite Sasha once he comes back. I'm almost positive that Wally will be coming off of the bench as will Gibson.

I'm not sure I agree. I think wally would start since he is a better 3 pt shooter, and when you pull him you can put gibson in and not lose the threat. Sasha has been awful from 3 this year, and his D coming off the bench with gibson might be a better fit.
also, gibson and sasha are used to playing together and that continuity would be a plus going against the other teams second unit as well. with delonte and wally you have good d (delonte) and good O (wally), and you get the same with gibson and sasha.
and you get the same with the Z/big ben combo starting, and then the AV joe smith combo off the bench. This type of flexibility will be hard for Boston to deal with, but Detroit is deeper so I think that series would be the bigger challenge than Boston. If we get that far, and I think we will.
