As you can see, I view this board frequently. Yes. Actually I'm more of an Irving fan than I am a Cavs fan. Can't support a team with questionable decisions from their management. I will always be due for a let down. But because I support Irving, I want the Cavs front office to get lucky sometimes, even through all their stupid decisions. My #1 team is the Spurs.

Great story. Lets hope that his personallity follows along a similar path to Kyrie's. Adding 4 talented, high character players in the last two drafts is such a huge boost.

After reading an article that mentioned Dion was playing through a nagging knee injury(happened before summer league) and came in out of shape, I'm willing to give him another chance.

The Dion hate is so strong on this site, people are calling him a scrub

Give him another chance? He hasn't even gotten his first chance yet. Summer league does not matter.

RealGM doesn't give you a first chance if you play for Cleveland. The same people who called Barnes a scrub are saying the Cavs should have taken him over Waiters.

The same people that called Waiters a scrub said that Irving would be a scrub before him and that LeBron would be a scrub before him. Haters do what haters do, they make bold comments and then disappear and deny when they are wrong.

Saw the video highlights of the wine and gold game. The box said Waiters had 12 and 4 which did not bug me but then I saw how he scored his 12 and I just had one question, "Are shooting guards taken with the 4th pick supposed to be able to shoot from outside?" :D

Dion Is a very streaky shooter, But excellent at driving. Very underrated passer and ball handler. I was at the scrimmage yesterday, And he had a solid performance. Dion was the 4th pick for various reasons, Other than shooting from outside

Please understand, I did not say he had a bad game.

But to your point. the things he did well Kyrie does well at the point. My concern is if both our guards drive well and pass well but do not shoot enough from the outside, the middle will be overdefended because there will be an defensive adjustment by other teams believing we have no outside threat. Waiters has to be able to shoot outside well to take full advantage of his SHOOTING GUARD position on the floor. That will help all 5 on the floor that's the concern.
