What is the incentive for Cleveland there, the mid to late 1st, the backup PF, or the dime a dozen center prospect?
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Melo, on the books for 4 years

I am not sure we can get much more for V at this point

He's worth more to us than anybody trading for him. We're not just gonna accept crap just to get something in return for him.

1. I don't necessarily think we NEED to trade him. Again. Like I said. He's worth more to us than the people who are trying to acquire him. He's not a headcase. He's a great team veteran on a good contract for 14 and 14 production. Those players are rare in the NBA who are not already NBA superstars. We'd be enticed to make a trade if the offer is something reasonable with young players and draft picks. So far, nobody has made an offer. So guess what. He'll still be a Cav.

2. I don't think we necessarily need a legit 3. We just need another wing player regardless whether it's the two or three to be a second scorer. The other wing position just needs to play good defense and be able to spot up when needed.

Down and young, you're likely down and done. Still hope you make the playoffs, but you need to show up against teams who have better players than Luke Walton.

Dwight > Kyrie

Kyrie is the only "young" player who has a potential on your team. Even if Dwight leaves us, we have a masterplan on 2014. You really think Lakers can be "done"?

I guess this proves the earlier point that Laker fans are obnoxious whether they are winning or losing.

What's crazy is they're not even homers (like the Celtics or Knicks per se), they're just obnoxious as hell.

They will disown their own team in a minute.

Lakers are sad if that is what helps you get through your day. Howard can't do anything with the best player since Jordan, Nash, and Gasol, he couldn't do anything with Orlando, he's not your team's savior.

Your team is going to be mediocre until Kobe stops clogging your cap room, if he leaves money on the table in two years, maybe you can win a division title and lose to the Thunder/Heat for a couple years.

Knicks homers are funny, like Suns/Blazers/Raptors/Pistons homers on the trade board.

Bragging about beating the Cavs? When was that?

I'm just replying to the posters saying that Lakers are "down" and "a crappy team" knowing that you have a worst record and let's not talk about "crappy team".

I just replied to the poster who came to our forum, posted a crappy trade idea and his reason? "Gotta kick them while they're down  ". If that's not trolling, I don't know what it is.

Well, anyways. Everything is cool. Good luck Cavs!

Ok seriously, comparing the Cavs and Lakers is completely irrelevant. There is simply no point in that argument at all. The Cavs are a young and rebuilding team in a small market. It is expected for them to play poorly. The fact that the Lakers are a big market team and with how much talent they have on their team, it is highly disappointing to see them 4 games behind for the 8th seed in the West. That is why they are kind of the laughing stock in the NBA.. Ever since Howard and Nash got traded to LA, a majority of people predicted for them to win it all, or to at least make a huge playoff run. At this point, nearly halfway through the season, it doesn't even look like they will be sniffing the postseason. But I am definitely rooting or them to make the playoffs, just so the Cavs can get their pick.

Anyways, can we get back to trade ideas and discussions now?

That kind of payback can get you banned. It's irrelevant what someone does on your board, your mods handle that situation while ours will handle your behavior on this board.

Sorry Cavs mods for continuing the derailment of this thread, this is often peoples excuse, but I can't understand why it makes sense to them.
