No one can beat #CLE's offer to #LeBron. 6 years in #CLE is like 100 years anywhere else.

That's easy for you to say, if you didn't have other options I think you'd have a bit of a different opinion

But really, it's nice to see that everyone isn't totally against us Clevelanders :)

I don't think he'd be a dick. I never understood the concept of Lebron or any other playing owing something to X franchise at all. So because in said year team X sucked so bad and lucked out in the lottery so they can pick player Y , therefore player Y owes it to the franchise to stay there. Why?
The lottery and draft is pure luck---a franchise itself doesn't do anything to deserve a player.

and the argument "we have done so much for Lebron". I mean seriously---any team with a top 5 nba player does everything to please that player. Cleveland didn't do anything special which other franchises wouldn't have done.

I agreed with you up until the end. But the Cavs spent more money to keep LeBron happy than any team has ever done. Just the fact that they built a state of the art practice facility just in an effort to keep LeBron happy (when they actually had one that was only a couple years old inside the Q).

That being said, I don't think LeBron owes the Cavs anything. However, being a lifelong Cavs fan and a native Clevelander I'd have to do everything that I could to try to bring a title to NE Ohio.

RT @RicBucher: Maybe coincidence, but: since World Wide Wes was booted from inner circle, rumors of LeBron going here/there have evaporated.

LeBron to break the news on his new site, lebronjames.com? "You'll be the first to know," it says when registered. His "team" has informed various media outlets that his site will have the news that everyone wants to know, long before it is released to ESPN and other sports-media sites. -HJM

Cav's "Family Guy" video parody cost 300K to make:

According to a person familiar with the movie that the Cavs organization used in their presentation to James on Saturday, there is a scene where an owner named James Colan continues to reprimand a basketball general manager named Denny Welsh for speaking out of turn.

"Be quiet," Colan says repeatedly, "you're not authorized to speak."

The Knicks also tried to entertain James with a video on Thursday featuring Sopranos stars James Gandolfini and Edie Falco reprising their roles as New Jersey's favorite mafia couple. The Cavs, however, tapped into James' favorite show "Family Guy" as a way to convince the free agent to re-sign.

Bill Collage, a screen writer whose list of credits include the feature length motion picture "Accepted," teamed with Adam Cooper and director Brian Gilbert to produce the short film.

The animated picture shows James walking through his own life and even running into billionaire Warren Buffett, who tells LeBron that he made his fortune in Omaha and not in New York or Los Angeles.

The Buffett character apparently tells James: "You don't choose home, home chooses you." The theme of the movie was that by staying in Cleveland, LeBron will become the savior of greater Cleveland.

It ends with a modern day LeBron visiting a 75-year-old LeBron, who tells the young man: "You've always made the right choices…and this time will be no different."
