Yea what a terrible deao for us. A borderline all star sf for a guy who wont play much behind tristan and a few picks that we might never see...

You and I definitely define "Borderline All Star" much differently. First and foremost, I think you'd probably need to be one considered for an all star game to be a borderline all star. Secondly, you probably need to put up more than 16.2 on .418 shooting to be considered for an all star game. I actually like his height and age, but overall, I think you vastly overpay per usual.

That is one of those trades that you instantly want to call the poster who threw it out there out as a homer.. and then you realize that it was a guy who follows the Cavs and you are dumbfounded. I dont even know what to say about that one.

Hawks fan, I come in peace.

I think we're a playoff team, but if things go awry and Horford hits the block, would you be interested in a Horford deal?

Ideally we would want Waiters back I think with your pick (which would be playoff bound) and filler. Zeller would be nice too.

Is Horford/Lou W.

for

Waiters/Zeller/Pick/Filler (Bynum if hurting, something else if not)

reasonable?

I like the trade value wise - ideally we would get Korver instead of Lou. But we really have no need for Big Al at this time. Crowded frontcourt as it is. Before I saw Bynum step on the court I may have responded differently.

I just don't see why the Cavs would need another PF

Raps fan here.

Would you guys be interested in trading Bennett + a salary dump of Bynum's contract (if he hasn't proven he can remain healthy by Dec 15th) + Filler for Rudy Gay + NY 2016 First Rounder + Steve Novak?

Bynum's deal is only $6m guaranteed until early January. Then, it's essentially an expiring. In no way is there a "salary dump" if you add $10m in salary immediately and over $25 in total guaranteed salary in the books. It's only a salary dump for Toronto.

Wiz fan here

I honestly think a trade of Tristan Thompson and CJ Miles for Trevor Ariza would be great for both teams.

As much as the Cavs like Tristan, he's not an irreplaceable player, plays your number 1 picks position (Bennett), and you have big man depth in the form of Bynum and Varejao.

They can give Karasev all of Miles' minutes, throw Bennett into the fire and see what they really have, while getting a player that's GREAT for them in Ariza.

Irving, Waiters, Ariza, Bennett, Bynum.

I honestly think it solves a lot of your problems. And I think the Tristan/Bennett logjam is going to have to be addressed sooner rather than later given Tristan will soon be up for an extension.

Tristan and Miles for Ariza? You're so far off this is merely attempted robbery. If you think hat Cleveland should deal one of Bennett or Tristan, at least offer value. No reason for the Cavs to sell for pennies on the dollar.

And, right now, I'm not sure that Ariza is worth paying a premium over Miles when they're producing quite similarly per minute and Miles seems to be a great fit in a Brown system.

That's a pretty great deal just throw in porter and beal as fillers and I think we got a deal.

Would you guys do a Varejao, Mcgee swap? Or even a Bynum swap as well?

just focus on trading one of our point guards and a top pick for for a 2 and a 3 that can both score. (since dumba$$ Brown can only teach defense).

LOL

I see the love between the franchises is still alive. I agree. Trevor A would not be good for you to pick up. He is a really good player but he is better on a more well oiled playoff type team then a team trying to get established. Trevor A needs to go some place like Houston.

Looking forward to the game tonight.

If the Wizards are smart, they will play Temple on Jack instead of Maynor who he would likely torch.

Wizards are hungry for a win after a really tough schedule to start the year with only 2 home games and 6 road games against teams like MIA, OKC, DAL, and SA.

Isn't he out indefinitely with a stress fracture?

What realistic package would you guys offer for Rudy Gay?
