I'd rather give Dion and Bennett thirty more games before even considering making a lateral move to offload them.

If Dion can't find his way in this team chemistry and production wise, there won't be an option. They'd have to trade him for anything they could at that point. If he did have an issue with Kyrie and Tristan, it may be better to simply move Dion sooner eager Han later, or it could tear any chance For this team to be successful apart.

Everything Ive heard from the few guys I know with connections to the team have told me that the players only meeting was actually a good thing. They hashed things out, fought like brothers, and came out of it motivated and on the same page.

Then a couple weeks later Broussard came in and took some pieces of truth and created a huge ordeal over a story that had been over and handled for quite some time before that. I think that fans forget sometimes that these players are literally like family. They are with each other 7 days a week for hours on end. Family loves each other and hates each other several times a day. At the end of the day, even though fights are going to happen, they're still family.

Im getting pretty sick of this being a big story when it was over and done with long before any of it was ever even reported.

If they win, it's over. However, until the players involved play well and/or the team starts winning, it's going to continue to be a news issue. Unfortunate, but true.

will you ever contribute anything to this thread or is too hard for you to create an original thought?

Rather be from Ohio than be as dense as you appear.

Uh, pretty sure I did. You gave attitude with me for a trade thought I posted, and then you basically make the same trade thought in the Bulls forum. Being dense and not having an original thought don't apply to me my friend.

I actually agree with Boss and think your response was very juvenile, but in a nutshell, you don't go onto another teams board and start baiting them. It's a sure way to get suspended.

I did no such thing. I just proposed a trade idea pages ago. Then the big boss man got his panties in a bunch as it seems like he usually does around these parts.

This is pretty clearly baiting/inciting on a visiting forum. How can you think otherwise?

"Let me come in your house and insult you in an overbearing tone, but if you think I am actually insulting you; then I am offended!"

You have to start from the beginning of the exchange.

I see, the "he hit me first" defense.

Yeah. You're not making the defense you think you are.

But even if you want to claim you're attacked first, just report the post, don't strike back harder and escalate / retaliate to a higher extreme.

I suggest you take a break from the Cavs board for a little while. No warning or anything like that needed, but we also dont want this to escalate any further. I think you'll find on pretty much every board on RealGM that the fans of the team who's board you are posting on get a little upset if you act like you know more about their team then they do.

You seem like a good poster, who can bring up some solid points. I just dont think it worked out so well in this thread.

What would you guys give up to get Jeff Green? Jack & Gee + Sac No. 1 (possibly Memphis No. 1)? I have no interest in a rental of Deng or Turner for what it would cost. I would rent Ariza depending upon the ask. Green is legit 2nd/3rd option on offense. He's on a reasonable contract. I just don't think we are going to be competitive in the playoffs with our current cast of small forwards.

'That package is straight up horrid for Boston. The least they would demand is one of Thompson/Waiters +pick(s)

now Green is someone I'd be okay with.

I'd change the pick language to a swap or lowest non lottery pick, as with any of these SF trades, none of them are worth a potential high end lottery selection.

Example: Miami ends up 27, Memphis 22, Cavs 19 and Kings 13. Memphis keeps pick, Cavs keep 27 and 13 but 19 goes to Boston.

Wouldn't give up more.

Fart, you think? So, you're saying there is no deal to be had then. Waiters straight up maybe, but I don't think the situation here between him and whoever is that bad. And I really like Green, I was really hoping that he would end up here before his heart issue. But Boston isn't going anywhere, and picks and young players is what they should and probably are looking for, but what you are suggesting is just way too steep.
With Sullinger as their PF would they even be looking at Thompson? I think they are more interested in moving Rondo at this point anyway. Plus, they might even make the playoffs in the least, not that they really want to. Which might even help if we were looking into Green, I mean, if they are tanking for a top 3 pick it would help them to move Green, and I think most GMs understand that.

I just look at it this way, would we accept jack+gee+sac first for thompson or waiters? Hell no, so why would boston accept that for green who is more proven than both those guys? They are not going to trade us one of their few young promising players for trash. Can't trade peanuts for a diamond.

Boss you are the homer's homer. I mean that in a good way. But we might have to give up more.

The Cavs really can't give up Waiters at this point. I'd have no problem moving TT. Frankly, for the right value, I'd move Irving.

JBK, I agree, though given TT's play this season, age and contract status I believe he is worth more than Green. As for Kyrie, yeah I would have to agree.
