His 7'2" wingspan is handy, he's also a smart savvy player who'd fit in well if he has anything left in the tank.
He can have a 9'9" standing reach like Mark Williams, i still don't want him back lol

His shot seems to have improved but he left a lot to be desired in that area his first stint. Also, i know there's no cure for Crohn's disease but i really did feel like it made him be low energy sometimes, not his fault, just another variable.

Then this is more so just something that sticks with me as funny but when he walked right past the kid wanting an autograph like he didn't exist LOL

Yes, his condition puts limits on how much he be counted on, but we've dealt with it in the past and presumably wouldn't need to play him very much.

I also have a soft spot for him because he's often contributed to the fan community behind the scenes via RCF.

I'm a sicko who actually likes the NBA All-Star weekend so I'm v excited that Garland is in the three point contest and Mobley and Mitchell are in the skills competition.

I went last year to All-Star Saturday night, it was fun, despite being like 8° out lol

That’s a take. My experience with LNJ is the opposite having watched him chase down groceries at the GE when an old woman’s bag broke.

And my experience with Wade was him being a prima donna with the Charge and never signing for kids or even interacting with fans.

Perspectives.

Lol it was just so highly publicized is why i recall it. Not even acknowledging little dude cracks me up.

I remembered the dudes who signed for me, CJ Miles, Jarrett Jack, Alonzo Gee, Tyler Zeller, Dion Waiters, and Sergey Karasev. I like when players treat fans like just other people.

The TNT guys did their best to make this new messed up format interesting by apparently deciding on their own to create Team Old Guys, Team Young Guys, and Team International Guys.

I think its cool we demanded to hang onto our young guys.

I kind of wonder if there were even other offers for Hunter. I assume most teams were just scared to touch him at his salary and his injury history. Apparently the Nets held firm to wanting a pair of firsts for Cam Johnson.

It would be pretty hilarious if Hunter outplayed Mikal Bridges or OG Anunoby in the playoffs given what the Knicks gave up for them.

You should throw that Waiters one up on Ebay.

The entire league is capped out and there weren't that many players on expiring contracts left to trade.

Seems Cam was the main target but I'm glad we didn't surrender to the Nets demands.

We'll see how Hunter does and also whoever we get in the last 2 spots, how they do.

I'm a little worried Simmons was the only play-off caliber buyout candidate, but we will see. Just having some extra big man depth would be nice even if we dont have rely on them. It would be cool if Boucher or LNJ got bought out

Yeah, I'm looking and i really see no one i want to add to the roster. Teams do still have about 3 weeks to buy guys out, so maybe something turns up.

If not, will probably just be Marcus Morris, Danny Green, and Rajon Rondo level guys who are washed but we end up playing in the post season, when injuries inevitably hit us.

If they wanted two firsts, we couldn't. If we retain Ty this summer on the league-average exception, we'll be over the second apron and unable to trade that 31 first (which is a good thing tbh). The number of fans willing to ship it off before we've even conveyed the first pick to the Jazz was crazy to me.

I was a little worried about adding Simmons to the locker room tbh, and honestly, if he's looking to rehab his career with a single playoff run, I'm glad he went to L.A.

I don't see any news, did we sign him to a 10-day? He's another 6'10" guy who can shoot and block shots.

Weirdly basketball-reference doesn't have his G-League stats.

Return to Cleveland Cavaliers
