after a couple of weeks of sitting players, it's great to have the real season starting. Like last year, this season is only a success if we win the championship. And like two years ago, our playoff rotation plays it's first game together all season in game 1 of the playoffs.

Anyone else think we need to see more Super Jamario / West / LeBron on Rose?

BTW - Rose was balling agsint the C's the other night.

Hinrich also looked really good.

Absolutely. If Mo is looking like a defensive liability we need to make the switch.
I think Parker should be able to handle Hinrich, but we'll need West on Rose a lot.

Shaq should give us an advantage too. They're going to have to play Brad Miller more than they'd like to.

On paper we roll over this team. I'm very concerned about the lay-off. Teams can't always just turn it on whenever they feel like it.

I'm hoping they put Mo on Hinrich and Delonte on Rose.

Of course it's Mike Brown so he'll probably leave Mo on Rose and he'll get torched.

If I were you guys I wouldn't get too worried about Hinrich. He only does that once every two weeks, and he hasn't done THAT in almost 3 years.

Thanks for being cool about the game thread vs the Raptors, by the way. I'm sure the Bulls hope they can pick up some more experience vs. you guys. I have us squeaking out an upset in Game 1 due to your players being somewhat rusty, but after that the slaughter begins and we are done by Game 5.

Good luck.

I've been watching CHI closely the last few weeks. Rose is the real deal, I think he will carve Mo up off the dribble and murder us on the P&R so we will likely have to put Delonte or possibly even Lebron on him alot.

This should be a good, competitive series.

LeBron has to shoot better beyond the arc or not shoot the 3's at all. Just post-up. He shot something like %20 in March.

I think that the break should help LeBrons shot. Now if we could just improve his judgment about taking some 3's. Personally I think he's a good shooter when he sets his feet. But he does take some terrible shots like he's trying to battle with Kobe for taking the most difficult shots.

If anything, I am hoping that LeBron takes a lot less 3's than he does during the regular season so he can post up more.. Doubt that will happen though.

Time for Cleveland to get a bit of payback for the Jordan years...

The Bulls are better than their record due to Noah(who has probably improved as much as any NBA player over the past year) missing 20 games, but I don't think the Rose/Noah lead Bulls have enough in them to make this a competitive series, and one win should be considered a positive result, imo.

Best Case: Cavs 4 --- Bulls 0
Worst Case: Cavs 4 --- Bulls 1

James and Jamison should both put up monster stats throughout the series, imo
EDIT: posted this in the wrong thread earlier...

Hey Guys, Bulls Fan Here.

Aren't you just glad that it ain't Raptors fans? Yeah they are annoying.

Well since you all may not be familiar with our team I thought I'd give you a brief rundown.

Rose - pg good
Hinrich - sg pg almost always terrible
Deng - sf half the time terrible
Taj - pf he tries
Noah - c good

BENCH:
Vinny - coach almost always bad and gets in fights with the gm
Brad - c mean and crafty but so far no fights
James Johnson - sf horribly unprepared for professional basketball
Flip - sg huh? also not ben, he's on detroit now
Warrick - pf benchy
Pargo - pg sg oh god no, please no
Other Guys - probably

Team overall - won five in a row on the road once lost ten in a row once. Kinda up and down. Good luck and may basketball prevail.
