Wade trying to recruit LeBron?

Is Dwayne Wade up to his old tricks again? A few months ago, he was quoted as saying that "LeBron and him had talked about being team-mates" and later gave other innuendos that LeBron would possibly be going to Miami. He was quoted last night as saying:

"We play well together," Wade said... he went on to say:"Myself, LeBron, Chris, certain guys are in the driver's seat to decide where they want to go," and "Myself and LeBron are team players. I think we've proven that. I don't think you can say that about everybody." There was more said, before closing with: "I don't have a problem sharing," Wade said. "That's what this summer's about: Sharing. I'm going into the summer with the thoughts that I want to share next year.

Question is: Does Dwayne get LeBron to goto Miami and play on the HEAT's team with him? I know that nobody likes to hear this as a possibility, but it sure seems like Wade is throwing out the recruit-card awful early... while his "team" is still in a playoff fight. Wonder if LeBron will take that into consideration?

If Lebron signs with Miami, I would lick his balls.

What sense would it make for Lebron to go to Miami? Miami is struggling to not get swept by an old ass Celtics team they don't even have Championship on their radar, while LeBron and the Cavs are looking to take it all.Hell it would make more sense for Dwayne to be seen in a Cavs jersey next year if he's so excited to share with LeBron

why would he go there? they wouldn't be able to afford him. And we know lebron really just cares about money and himself anyways

Championship=More Money for Lebron. Wouldn't Cleveland be the team that can offer LeBron the most amount of Money anyway? And if he only cared about himself Im pretty sure he wouldn't want to win any championships and wind up in a Kobe situation, where everyone doubts he can win a ring on his own.

batman doesn't move out of his mansion to move in with Robin. If Wade wants to play with LeBron, he needs to come to cleveland.

Problem with that analogy is that Flash already has a championship and was finals MVP.

Well, it does make sense:

Which team is better for the present & future; Miami with Wade, or Cavs without LeBron?

Sure, the Cavs are playing for a title; but if LeBron wasn't playing, would they still be contenders? I don't think so. If the Cavs played the Celtics without LeBron, who do you think would win that series? That is basically what LeBron has to decide: Are the Cavs better without him, or is Miami, or another team? In truth, I think the Cavaliers are about a 40-45 win team without LeBron. The Cavaliers need a Center for the future (No Varejao is not a center...even if he "can" play it), because Z and Shaq are definitely not going to lead this team anywhere

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he stays in Cleveland, but in-truth, I think if I were in his position, I'd have to take a LONG, HARD look at the situation, then go to the team that offered me the best chance of winning multiple championships over the next 10 years. That team, in my opinion, is OKC. I just hope we can get a title out of him before he leaves; if that is what he does.

actually the way I look at it is Wade looks pissed that its him and no one else in Miami. I's say he's more than 50/50 in leaving there. More likely I could see Wade going wherever Bron is. Even here.

I think it is more likely to see LeBron and Wade in NY than both in Miami. The only way LeBron to Miami really makes sense is if Miami can ship out Beasley (plus filler) for a decent big.

Why would Wade - a guy closing in on 30 with a long string of injuries - pass up the final quarenteed year of a contract that he can get in Miami? I don't think there is any chance that he leaves Miami.

LeBron might go there with him, but most likely they both stay put.

Why would a superstar potentially skip out on the 6th year of a max contract? Quite simply, as others have already said, to win.

Because you put Lebron and Wade together .. its an instant contender no matter where it is that theyre playing.

Lebron would go to miami be for he goes to ny, but I also like the ideal of Wade coming to Cleveland better.

I've said all along that Wade is much more likely to go to NYC than Lebron. He's languishing in a minor market for a team that isn't good enough to win a playoff series, he isn't getting any national run for how freaking amazing he is, he only gets those T-Mobile ads and no other exposure even though he's great on camera. It's all the makings of a guy who wants to swim in a bigger pond. Lebron has a championship caliber team, tons of exposure and endorsements, and he keeps getting compared to Jordan and either him or Kobe are universally mentioned as the best player in the game. IMO Wade is right there with them but you never hear him mentioned. If I were him I'd go...and I wouldn't want to play with Lebron because I would know I'll be Pippen to his MJ. If I'm that great I don't want to be Scottie Pippen, I want to be my own superstar.

Honestly, watching the Heat play. Hurt. it really did. just as it did for me to watch Bosh play. it hurt. These guys have so much potential and to see them put into situations where their talents are basically being wasted on teams that arent going anywhere. Hurts.

Lol if I was a player I'd want to play in Miami, (never was a Lakers fan but until recently I figured if I was to play, I'd play for LA). Miami is just too beautiful and great, I love Ohio and Cleveland is good but I'm really from Akron and only time Akron and Cleveland is put in same sentence is when we're talking LeBron, why does everyone think we love each other or something? and let's be honest here, what does LeBron do that's so great for Akron, if anything he's only working Cleveland economy and putting them on the map.

But at least he's repping where he's from I guess, NBA players are hardly known by their hometowns, just by the teams they play for.
