While watching game 1, the commentators mentioned that Mark Price worked with Rondo over the summer to help him improve his shot. Price was a shooting consultant for Memphis prior to joining Atlanta as their shooting coach, so why isn't he Cleveland's shooting coach? Is Chris Jent just the better option? Does Ferry have an issue with Price?

Price was under contract at the time. Jent also serves in other capacities with the Cavaliers, making him a very valuable member of the organization.

My best guess is that Mark just likes to be as close to home as possible. That's Georgia.

Well Rondo still sucks at shooting so I dont think we are missing out too much.

Are you talking about field goals or free throw shooting? The Cavaliers are one of the best Field Goal shooting and one of the best 3pt Shooting teams in the leaque. But as far as Free Throw shooting, we are the worst...

Iunno I heard he's just free throw coach, which is kinda obvious because rondo still cant shoot

That's because Patrick Ewing is coaching Dwight Howard. How many seasons did Ewing play in Orlando?

He's there because he was fired as an announcer for the Cavs several years ago. That being said, he lives in Atlanta, went to school there and has no interest in living anywhere else.

I always thought Price liked Ohio. After all, he did name his daughter Hudson.

It pisses me off to see Rondo shoot well from the stripe now. I had him in fantasy and he sucked from the line. It almost cost me first place. Of course now that we are playing his team he cant miss from the line. I have wondered in the past about Price helping us out but I think the Georgia connection is right on.
