Wallace being dumped to Nets for relief. Portland full-blown rebuild. Crawford being shopped aggressively. Blazers also may be looking to dump Wesley Matthews for relief.

If I'm the Cavs, I make a call about Matthews. 25 year old shooting guard having a bad season, but has had two solid years already- career 45% shooter, 38% from deep. Under contract for 3 years after this year making an average of 6.7 million per year. He's known to be a tough perimeter defender.

Send Sessions and Parker to Portland for him. Thoughts?

They got a pick as well that are only top 3 protected. That's a great deal for Portland. Wallace have been pretty bad of late.

I was hoping they didn't have to take back Walton... the Cavs also got the right to flip picks with LA in 2013.

#Cavs also have the right to swap next year's 1st round pick from Miami, which the Cavs hold, with Lakers' 1st round pick in 2013, depending on which is higher, according to a source with knowledge of the trade

BREAKING NEWS: #Cavs trade Ramon Sessions, Christian Eyenga to Lakers for Luke Walton and Lakers' #1 pick (top 14 protected) in 2012 draft.

Have to lock this thread. It finally reaches 100 pages after 2 years. First time that has ever happened on the Cavs board.
