I heard the song "Ohio is For Lovers" by Hawthorne Heights, and immediately thought of LeBron, and made this clip:

Man..I'm a Toronto Native and Fan. Hypothetically We're going thru the same thing you are. Except you lost the best player in the game now, and your best player EVER lol. I feel like your city is so desperate and begging homie to stay. Whats gonna happen when he leaves? Everyones gonna be all sour and hate him, cry and through a fit. Just let things flow. I must commend the cavs forums for being so docile lately during rough times.

Im a Toronto native and Fan and I think LeBron leavin is worse than Bosh just because he's from Akron, and is basically a hometown hero. It's just as you said, he's the best cav player ever and the best player in the game. Concerned fans should be doing their part to make him stay. AND DON'T FRONT like there isn't a movement up here in Toronto dedicated to keeping Bosh in a Raptor's jersey.

You are right, if LBJ would leave his home state it would be worse, he would become the new Art Modell of Ohio and not be welcome in his own hometown.

But, just like last time he resigned with the Cavaliers, he has EVERYONE watching his EVERY move. This story is overshadowing the freaking playoffs, and he is loving it!

I think it's pretty sad to see a fan base just begging a player to stay. I don't care who it is but it's not like Lebron won you guys a chip. From where I stand he went down hill ever since. He could go the way of Dominque Wilkins who played most of his career for his home state team the Altanta Hawks. How did that turn out for both Wilkins and the Hawks? Either have won a championship. I see that for the Lebron and Cleveland even if he stays there. The team has went to the finals, conference finals, second round, conference finals and the second round. Even if Lebron stays, Orlando will be a year better, Miami will be better with Dwade, Bosh and Joe Johnson, the Cs might take a hit but they seem to own the Cavs in the play-offs. Watch out for a team like New Jersey making a comeback. So it doesn't look good for you guys in Cleveland with or without Lebron.

you think we don't know that? even if lebron stays, we have an uphill battle on our hands with limited cap flexability and a bunch of square parts for round holes. i'm not going to beg one way or the other. if lebron wants to stay, cool but we have got a lot of work to do in terms of matching up with the league's best in the postseason, not the regular season. if lebron doesn't stay, then we need to get to work in tearing down the team to build it back up again for contention in about 3 years

I blame the GM for making bad deals like the Jamison deal. It was a boom or bust season for the Cavs and it all started in the off season when you got two player from the raportors. As bad as they where you didn't see them giving up must of a fight to keep Moon and Parker. I just thought the talent around Lebron was over-rated. I think Moe Williams is over-rated, I still don't see how that dude was an all-star two years ago. Not to mention bad coachings. So when you have all those thing mix together it not wonder the Cavs lost in the 2nd round. If Lebron is smart he will get out while he can or else he will be label the next Dominick Wilkins. A human hightlight reel but never won a championships.

All of a sudden since the cavs got eliminated from the playoffs, lebron james supporting cast is not good enough but it was good enough in the reg. season.

Problem is when your best player doesnt play to par, your teammates follow suit.

People need to realize that hollinger is a MORON.

Lebron does not make his teammates better, he makes them look better. He needs to focus on helping improve his teammates individual game instead of worrying about his stats and triple doubles. Its one thing to make a pass when you know your going to get credited for an assists compared to making a pass to allow your teammate freedom to be in control with the ball and either score or make a play.

Lebron might be the most dominant player in the league but he's def. not the best nor skilled.

Im a T-Wolves fan here. Completely irrelevant to the whole Lebron thing. Although we somewhat went through a similar thing with Joe Mauer, which is one of the better comparisons i can think of when it comes to hometown people although Mauer wasnt claimed the next Babe Ruth or anything like LBJ is with MJ.

But back to the topic. I truly truly truly, for Cleveland fans and Lebrons sake, stays in Cleveland. It just wouldnt feel right if he went to another team. Plus i really HATE the knicks. It's his hometown. All of his friends are there. You can tell that city embraces him and adores him. His movie More than a game really shows it and it would be a shame if he didnt stay his whole career there and win a few titles. I feel for you guys cuz he put that place on the map and I really hope he stays with you guys. You guys deserve him to stay there. Good video btw
