Enough with all the rumors of LeBron James' defection and all the news about what other cities are doing to lure the most coveted free agent in the world. Let's see someone try to top the LeLake LeCounty LeCaptains' plan to keep James right where he is, in good ol' Cleveland.
The Lake County Captains, the Indians' Class A affiliate, will change their name to the LeLake LeCounty LeCaptains for "Please Stay LeBron!" night on July 1 -- the first day of NBA free agency.
Every player and every staff member also will add the "Le" prefix to his first name for the evening. Some of the names we're looking forward to seeing in print: pitcher LeVidal Nuno, outfielder LeBo Greenwell and catcher LeChun-Hsiu Chen.

I think this and the Miami thing is really sad. Is basketball really this important?

I'm not even sure why anyone would argue that this is sad. This is the Indians single A affiiliate. They play in the next county. I'm positive that they actually don't care at all if LeBron resigns, this is their way to get some free advertising to draw people to see their own game.

It's not just about basketball, Wade's contributions in the Miami community has been huge. Some here think of him bigger than Dan Marino.
