Of course they will. However, they are not true cavs fans. They started watching the NBA since Lebron joined the league and will follow him where ever he goes with a different alias.

I know I would if I were a Cavs fan. In fact, I'd totally just pray that when he comes back to Cleveland as a Bull or Knick or whatever that he'd drop 50/12/10 on the Cavs while his team went to victory. And if for some amazing reason the Cavs were matched up with his team, I'd totally be rooting for him to have an awesome series and to sweep the Cavs. Cause I really want to support him and all.

As happy as I would be as a die hard Knick fan if LBJ does indeed sign with NYK, I would feel really really bad for the TRUE Cavs fans....a portion of me actually hopes he stays in Clevland....but everyone knows LeDrama...he has been dreaming big things....big things are in New York...

Thanks I tried being neutral and made the thread with a straight face. I also wanted the opinion of other fans but the voting is strictly for Cavs fans.

This poll should require that you post your answer to prevent Cavs haters from voting "yes."

He is dead to me if he leaves.

The Cavs still have a good roster, and Byron Scott is a good coach. They are still a 5-8 seed out in the East.

I can see them fighting for the 8th seed at best.

Hell no I would not support Lebron if he left. Part of me would wish him well since he is from an area near my hometown, but at the same time it's not like he brought CLE a title.

I wouldn't care either way to be honest. I would just stop watching the NBA. I would lose all interest in the sport because it is clear that the athletes involved only care about the city. If we were a more desirable city to live in, Cleveland has both Bosh and LeBron at this point and all of a sudden the foundation for a dynasty is in our grasp. But no...Bosh takes less money to play for Miami and Cleveland might lose their home-town guy.

If you are a Cleveland fan...why even follow the sport? What point is there?

It's better than the Wizards roster last year. Plus they could sign a FA.

Yup. Even if you luck out as a small market team and land a star, they will just bail for one of the marquee or warm weather cities down the line anyways.

That's where OKC is so lucky with Durant...he only cares about playing ball first and foremost.
