A General Warning for All!!!

This is a big day for the league, for our franchise, and for many other franchises. With that said tensions are going to be running very high and all posters need to be careful of what they say.

Regardless of LeBron's decision there will be absolutely no trolling, baiting, or other such topics or replies allowed. Any user who decides to break these rules will be subject to warning, suspensions, or being banned.

Consider this a fair warning. Things are going to be run a little more tightly for the next few days around here to avoid any ugly fights.

Also a note to Cavs fans for if/when LeBron resigns. Stay off of the Knicks, Nets, Bulls, and Heat boards. I know that we have put up with a lot of crap for years now regarding this day, but kicking other franchises when they are down is a good way to get yourself banned on a day when you should be celebrating.

Once more... Consider this your first and only warning.

No trolling will be allowed tomorrow!

you guys sit there and let other people's fave basketball players get disrespected all day....when people say kobe sucks and bring up his rape case i don't see you locking any threads or calling people trolls....but the mere mention that lebron wont be back (no trolling involved, just to try to get an idea of how the cavs fans feel) and you guys get sooo butt hurt.....hmmm funny

Yea... Im going to need some examples. We've merged and locked a lot of threads that belong elsewhere, so if you started a thread and it dissapeared or got locked you should check around. Its probably not gone, just merged to where it belongs or is being discussed elsewhere. We have a huge thread about the possibility of LeBron leaving that isnt locked up. Which by the way, is where the topic of the thread that you started that was locked is being discussed at.

Also, I dont see any Kobe rape case threads open on our board. So Im going to have to call you out on that as well. Guarenteed if a Cavs fan went to the Lakers board and started a thread about his rape case it would be locked up after everyone there calls the thread starter a troll.

Regardless, today is a big day, and tensions are going to be very high. No trolling or anything close to trolling is going to be allowed.

So...

For the most part your fans have run around from forum to forum, gawking, and pretty much ripping every organization apart because they don't have Lebron. Then you don't win a championship, and your fans continue to talk.

Now you're asking others not to troll because you could lose the only face your franchise has ever had? How convenient.

Some of you guys are cool, some of you need to learn how to take insults as easily as you hand them out.

Please show me one post of a TRUE Cavs fan who did that. I am talking about the fans who post on this forum on this page. When our city or team is attacked, we will defend it.

The moderators on this forums are fair. This warning is fair. It also wasn't directed specifically at non-Cavs fans, it was directed at EVERYBODY! Including Cavalier fans. Perhaps you should re-read the warning.

Way to backtrack. I'm sure every other team in the league has nothing but vibrant, thoughtful, knowledgable followers. And criticize our mods for warning people (possibly people like you) that unsavory posts (possibly like yours) will not be tolerated. Thank you for your understanding on this very tough day for us.

If you want to trash Cleveland, or gloat if Lebron leaves, go on the General Board, there is and has been plenty of that there. And it doesnt get locked. If you come to this board to gloat you are clearly looking for trouble/trying to piss people off. ITS OBVIOUS to any adult that is what your intentions are.
The Mods here are asking visitors to be respectful, if you arent mature enough to handle that request then F U. The vast majority of posters on this board who are actually Cavs fans handle themselves in a respectful manner unless/until someone purposefully agitates them into responding.
And yes, thats where the F U part comes in.

Sorry you guys lost LeBron, but man Gilbert sounds like a real jerk with the statement he made. Hey, wish the guy luck. He had every right to go where he wanted. He did his best for Cleveland, just that you couldn't get him the right pieces for a championship.
