I am just curious, since I'm sure a few of you are from the Cleveland/Ohio area, have you heard when LeBron told the Cavs he wasn't returning. I know he told the Knicks about 30 minutes prior. I've been looking on the internet but can't find this out. I know he said he hasn't spoke to Dan Gilbert personally during the interview, but he never said when the Cavs found out. I'm assuming it wasn't on live TV, but who the hell knows.
Also, as a Celtics season ticket holder I truly am sorry for Cavs fan everywhere. I know if Paul Pierce ever left, whether it was this season or before the Big 3 era, I would not only cancel my tickets the very next day, but besides crying, I don't think I could watch not only the Celtics, but the NBA in general for awhile.

Question about the decision
Paul Pierce said it best about Caron Butler and the AS 2007 Game:
"Caron Butler should send me flowers for being injured so he could make the All-Star game, because if I was healthy, he wouldn’t be in there.”

he did not, no class. Lebron should be blackballed by the NBA! I know they are banking off of him, but money is whorth less than pride and respect!

Re: Question about the decision
Reportedly the Cavaliers were notified by one of LeBron's associates during the broadcast, but just before the announcment.
Interestingly when Jim Grey asked how many people knew the exchange led LeBron to tell the world that you could count them on one hand. Of course, we know his mom knew, and presumably his 'wife'. Reports now indicate that Donnie Walsh new ahead of time...Wade and Bosh said in interviews they knew....he said Heat officials (i.e. Riley) knew...and Mav Carter had to know...and....
Of course he also indicated that the selected team new, but the other 5 did not....which supports the idea that the Cavaliers didn't know until the broadcast started, but the 'other 5' comment was a lie because he alread notified the Knicks.
