I was a cavs fan and still a Lebron fan

Being from New York, I was a cavs and lebron fan. Sure, I wanted Lebron to go to the knicks or nets because it was my hometown. Yet, even though I was a cavs fan, I could still appreciate lebron even if he no longer played for cleveland. Why can't clevelanders still appreciate lebron and just follow him even though he is on the heat? People are taking the hometown or home team too seriously and need to open up and follow more teams like the KINGS. Being a true NBA fan you appreciate all the stars, all the good teams.

I still also follow the cavs.

I was gon tell you to go jump off the Miami bridge that connects south beach with actual Miami (and get to the arena). but now that i seen you say all that, go jump off the Brooklyn bridge.

that being said LeBron's a dumb cause he's not taking his talents to south beach, but miami, but then again he's probably not talking bout basketball.

Nice join date Bro. Really? Do people know nothing about Cleveland sports? Ever heard of the "The Drive" or "The Fumble" or "The Shot"? All Cleveland sports disasters that Queen James knew about. So what does he do? He goes on national television and destroys a fan base with "The Decision". It was a premeditated, calculated move that basically said F U Cleveland.

Outside fans will never understand this.

give up the charade. you're not a cavs fan, you weren't a cavs fan when lebron was here nor will you ever be a cavs fan now that lebron is gone. leave us be and enjoy being a heat fan now

IMO, the OP is NOT a CAVs fan, but just a Lebron bandwagon fan trying to do some second rate Marketing PR... just like Lebron being second rate in Miami with his second rate marketing team. Being a great physical talent and leaning on your stats does not get you respect/ appreciation here in Northeast Ohio (includes Akron too) where No respect/ appreciation was shown by Lebron and his team of leaches to CAV fans. The road is a two way street and Lebron hasn't shown any respect/ appreciation for Northeast Ohio and thus does not deserve any in return.

I swear people have no understanding of what the word "fan" means. But let me explain that it is actually impossible to have been a Cavs fan and still be a LeBron fan. You can appreciate his ability, but if you were truly a fan of the Cavs, you likely dislike LeBron.

I think it's pretty hard to be a cavs fan before being a lebron fan being that I am not in the area. What does lebron owe to cleveland? He had a contract and fullfilled it. There are no rules that states he must play for cleveland again.

The truth is, the cavs were still lacking in the support around lebron. Lebron saw an opportunity to play with the HEAT. He didn't need to sign the contract extension, he gave cavs a second chance. What would Lebron have done if he is still on the cavs and they still lose?

Lebron has to do what is best for him, not taking chances.

yeah knicks had great support he should of went there... Maybe they should of brought on Isiah to find a loophole to pay him 100 million a year.

The flip side is true about Northeast Ohio (including Akron) not owing Lebron anything too since he quit on the CAVs and their fans. Your posts are nothing more than trolling here on the CAVs board.

The truth is that Lebron held the CAVs hostage for the last 3 years getting them to waste all their cap space with short-term moves which lead to the CAVs having the best regular season record the last two seasons. Lebron can complain about his supporting caste, but he didn't raise his level of play and dominate in the playoffs and hanging on to stats is for losers.
